[Audio] The District consists of five Circuits: The Coastal Circuit, serving congregations in the coastal towns of Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Arandis; The Kokerboom Circuit in the southern part of Namibia, named after the iconic Kokerboom (Quiver Tree); The Rehoboth Circuit; The Windhoek Circuit, and The Kavango Mission Circuit, located in northern Namibia, particularly in the Kavango region..
[Audio] The Namibia District has several mission systems and activities that functions effectively. This includes Mission and Community Engagements, supporting the spiritual, social and developmental needs of people in Societies and Circuits..
[Audio] Mission outreach programs, primarily led by Mission Groups in the District, included donations of toiletries and essential items to schools and facilities such as the SOS Children's Village, in Windhoek, which provides a safe and nurturing environment for children who have lost, or are at risk of losing parental care. Additional donations were made to shelters across the various Circuits..
[Audio] The Health-Care Desk in the District continued to promote wellness among church and community members. Its awareness programs inspired Methodist members of the Coastal Circuit to take part in the 10 km Rӧssing Marathon in Swakopmund on 7 March 2026 – a remarkable achievement!.
[Audio] Education and skills development programs of the Namibia District further focused on challenges such as food security and were supported by initiatives from Mission Groups and congregation members across different Societies, including garden projects in various communities..
[Audio] Skills development programs further promoted personal growth and income-generating initiatives, fostering both individual development and Christian transformation..
[Audio] The Namibia District recognises the negative impact of environmental damages on communities and supports the work of the newly established Connexional Eco-Justice Desk, in its efforts to care for God's creation..

[Audio] The Namibia District faced several challenges that impacted its Mission and Ministry work, including: Natural Disasters, in the form of strong winds and heavy rains in the northern region of Namibia. This severely damaged Church properties in the Kavango Circuit, which disrupted church services and activities, due to safety concerns. Renovation have commenced, but progress is slow due to limited resources and financial constraints..
[Audio] Gender-based Violence and Substance Abuse remain significant challenges within the District. Unemployment and Poverty limit the economic stability of families and reduces participation in church activities and community support. Limited Resources for mission work further reduces the effectiveness of Mission Desks, Mission Groups and their programs..
