The Shift: Moving from “One Size Fits All” to “ Assembled for Purpose” Key Direction: Target design architecture “Microservices Layer” to wrap legacy systems. This allow us to innovate on the FE apps without disrupting the core insurance engine. Business Outcome: Faster speed-to-market, high resilience, and the ability to “plug and play” new business capabilities.

The Shift: Moving from point-to-point/ batch to Event Based Integration. Key Direction: Define and publish business events as the primary integration mechanism. Business Outcome: Faster, more reliable system integration that enables real-time business response while reducing change, coupling and operational risk.

The Shift: Moving from “Siloed Data” to “Domain-oriented enterprise wide-data” Key Direction: Data as a Strategic asset. Treat data as managed product aligned to business domain and values stream, unified & trusted dataa platform, self-service enablement. Business Outcome: Trustworthy, Faster, better-informed decision making & improved CX through data-drive insights.

The Shift: Moving from “Project-Based” to “Roadmap-Driven” evolution. Key Direction: Define and create target EA reference architecture, establish Technical Reference Model (TRM) , architecture roadmap guardrails to track every business initiative and capabilities. Business outcome: A clear “North Star” for all tech employees, ensuring roadmap aligns with AIA’s strategy plan and business goals.
