1) Who are we?. Muffles College was founded in 1953 as a Jesuit school and was named for Fr. Joseph Mueffels In 1967, we became a MERCY SCHOOL of which there are only two in Belize: Muffles College and Saint Catherine Academy in Belize City. That same year, the original three buildings were started and our college moved from Muffles Street to our current location in October of that first year..
