The overall layout of Aladdin, makes the viewer focus on the genie. This is because he is magic because he can turn big and small. Most of the poster is covered with all the characters. They did this because there is a lot of characters and that is the main purpose of the movie.

This poster I think is not too bad for a poster. It shows the genre but they could have made Aladdin bigger because he is the main character. It shows all the characters so it’s good at advertising the movie.

The main image has all the characters in it and the main actress is in the front. They are wearing 2000s clothes in pink. They did this because they are the main characters and that’s what the movie is about, the ‘mean girls’

The overall layout of Mean Girls , makes the viewer focus on the bold text ‘ MEAN’ and the not bold text ‘GIRLS’  and the viewer would look at the main actor ‘Lindsay Lohan’. Most of the poster is covered with all the characters. They did this because that’s all the characters and that is the main purpose of the movie.

This poster is pretty good for a poster. I think it is too much pink for a poster but overall it is okay. I like that it shows the main character at the front, where she is closer to the audience to show she is the main character. The fashion helps show the low rise jeans and low rise skirts and the high heels that were what people wore in the 90s – early 2000s. The poster brings people to it by some people might like 90s style.

Out of the two movie posters I believe that Aladdin is the better designed  movie poster because there is more to it such as more charters and a lot more to look at then mean girls.
