Scene 1 (0s)

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE. DOH-TRC Bicutan Multi-Purpose Cooperative.

Scene 2 (29s)

[Audio] Our membership committee has made significant accomplishments in the past year. Firstly, we increased our membership fee from Php.200.00 to Php. 500.00, which will be implemented in 2023. This change will help us to better support our members and provide more resources for our cooperative. Secondly, we recruited 8 new members who have already paid their capital share. This has allowed us to expand our membership base and bring in more revenue for our cooperative. In addition to these accomplishments, we have also continued to update our members’ profile and distribute updated membership forms. This has helped us to ensure that our members’ information is up-to-date and accurate. We have also created a members’ database for those who have already updated their membership profile. Finally, we are committed to continuous recruitment of new members. We believe that by bringing in new members, we can continue to grow our cooperative and provide more benefits to our existing members. We are proud of these accomplishments and look forward to continuing to make progress in the future..

Scene 3 (1m 32s)

[Audio] We have developed a policy for the classification of active members of DOH-TRC Bicutan Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This policy outlines the specific duties required for membership. Our Amended By-Laws stipulate that active members must fulfill these duties, which include paying their share capital subscription, participating in capital build-up and savings mobilization activities, patronizing the cooperative's businesses and services, attending general assembly meetings, observing and obeying all lawful orders, decisions, rules and regulations, and promoting the cooperative's purposes and goals..

Scene 4 (2m 9s)

[Audio] Individuals must contribute a minimum of Php 5000.00, invest in the business and services of the cooperative, attend the annual general meeting and participate in the election process, pay their loans on time and not fall behind in their contributions, and follow the rules, decisions, and regulations of the cooperative. Failure to meet at least three of these qualifications will result in the member being considered INACTIVE..

Scene 5 (2m 43s)

[Audio] Our proposed policy on termination of membership due to death or insanity with unsettled liabilities is as follows: In accordance with our cooperative by-laws, termination of membership is automatic in the event of the death or insanity of a member. Upon such occurrence, the next-of-kin shall assume the duties and responsibilities of the original member. However, we would like to clarify that in case of death or insanity of a member, the unpaid loans and credits, as well as other unsettled liabilities shall be shouldered by the nearest living relative of the terminated member..

Scene 6 (3m 17s)

[Audio] Our cooperative values the traditional Filipino value of damayan or mutual aid, which means the practice of being there for one another during times of crisis or grief. We believe that financial assistance should be provided to all members of our cooperative in the event of death in the family, regardless of their financial status. Our objective is to provide financial assistance to all members of the cooperative in case of death in the family. Our policy is that all members in good standing and who have been in the cooperative for at least a year are entitled to the Damayan Fund. This fund covers the entitled member and his/her dependents up to the first degree of affinity and consanguinity only (parents, spouse, children). Any entitled member will receive Php. 10000.00 financial assistance in case of death of the member or his/her qualified dependent. Proof of death certificate (photocopy) are required attachment and must be submitted before claim can be processed. We believe that this financial assistance will provide comfort and support to our members during difficult times..
