METHODOLOGY OF DELIVERY. Training Delivery Methodology The 40hour training course adopts a participatory and performance-based learning approach. The learner gains knowledge, skill or new attitude which they will be able to process through sharing or reflection. They will then form generalizations and try to find meaning from the new learning. At the end, they will be able to apply the new knowledge, skill or attitude or transfer it to someone else. For that cycle of learning to take place, the learning retention rate should be considered so that the method used assures of a higher learning and retention rate..

TRAINING DURATION. This is a 40-hour course. This is the generally internationally recommended duration of a basic or foundational mediation course. It is ideally spread over five consecutive days but could be spread out in another format to suit the needs and context of the trainees..

TRAINING ACTIVITIES. The course will use a variety of training activities. The facilitator is given the discretion to choose from any or a combination of several of these activities so as to optimize on learning.

EXPECTED OUTCOME OF THE COURSE.
