Scene 2 (14s)

In this presentation we will learn to calculate 3 types of sale decrease changes. You will need a calculator, pencil, paper and a rubber. There will be a written explanation of how to work it out if the speech is too fast.

Scene 3 (26s)

[Audio] We will need to calculate the new price of a 30% decrease of $5. You will need to multiply the starting value with the percentage change. In doing so it should look like this. With using a calculator. you can find the answer to 5 times 30%, Don't forget to add the percentage symbol when calculating. Now, 5 times 30% equals 1.5, you then must subtract the starting value with the previous answer. It will then be seen as 1.5 subtract 5. Resulting in an answer of 3.5. At the end you should add a 0, since this is a sale price decrease. By adding a 0 it is rounded to look like $3.50..

Scene 4 (1m 19s)
