This analysis is a the poem written by oswald durand “The Black Man’s Son”.This poem is about a twenty year old man who was dark skin but he loved a light skin women named Lice which was an issue for the black man because they were not the color of skin.However that was not the case for his parents because his mother had light skin whereas His father was dark skin.
In the poem the poet created a romantic atmosphere
For the reader to feel love and affection while reading the poem.
TONE The tone of the poem can described as an optimistic tone when the poet use the words as ardent as our tropic sun is, always.
