[Audio] Types of Diploma Programmes At LSBF, we offer the following types of Diplomas: Foundation Diploma - This is an initial qualification for students who have completed their O-Level and/or high school education. Students can complete the Foundation Diploma in 6 months (full-time study) or 9 months (part-time study). On completion of the Foundation Diploma, students can progress to the Diploma level. Diploma - This is an entry-level qualification for students who have completed their A-Level or equivalent qualification. This Diploma can be completed in 8 months (full-time study) or 12 months (part-time study). On completion of the Diploma, students can progress to the Advanced Diploma level or seek employment. Higher Diploma - This is a full-time course of 18 months for students who have completed their A-Level or equivalent qualification. In addition to meeting the academic qualification, students are also required to meet the minimum entry-level requirement of the English Language. On completion of the Higher Diploma, students can gain entry (Top-up) into a UOG bachelor’s Degree (Hons) Programme or seek employment. Advance Diploma - Students who have completed the Diploma can progress to the Advanced Diploma level. Students can contact them directly to arrange accommodation as per their own requirements. No air conditioning. Food is basic. Food courts (S$ 5-10 / meal)- You’ll find them in malls: they’re air conditioned & more hygienic than hawker centres. Restaurants (S$ 15-100 / meal) – There is really no limit at how good (and expensive) your food can be in Singapore. At the hostel (S$ 250-300 / month for breakfast and dinner): Most hostels will offer a food plan which may be a good option (healthier food!) Transportation MRT train, buy an EZLink card. It has a stored value and when it runs out, you can top it up with fresh funds. The card works for all trains and buses. You can comfortably get around on S$ 100 / month, as long as you do not take taxis. A short taxi ride may be S$ 8, if you need to go to travel from the outskirts into the centre, count on about S$ 25-30..
