(NKJV) "Dear Heavenly Father We lift Your name on high and we glorify You. It is of Your mercies that we are not consumed because Your compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Thank You that You will not withhold Your compassion from us, and Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve us. May our response to You this day be that we want to know and heed Your instruction, and to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice - alive, holy and pleasing to You. This service unto You is not an unreasonable service from us to You and it is ultimately beneficial to us. Father, we pray that we will make Your desire ours and live a life that is holy and pleasing to You for therein is a life that is good for us and keeps us in Your protection. You know that there are many forces in this world that seek to corrupt our value system, thoughts and our behavior. We pray for courage to keep ourselves away from the influence of the world and from evil companions who corrupt. May we evaluate our behavior actively. May we not think highly of ourselves to assume that we have the power to stay steadfast in You while engaging in ungodly activities and talks, and pursuing happiness that is defined by ungodly companions. May we boldly pull down every stronghold that seek to turn us away from a life that is filled with Your fullness. May we not be ashamed of the gospel nor make any attempt to hide the truth that we are Christians. Father, we pray for Your timely intervention in all seasons of our life. We pray for the fear of You to anchor our soul, and for courage to apply godly wisdom in all areas of our life. May we mature spiritually, focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes. May we prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of Yours. Let it be unto us that our joy is in our Lord Jesus for it is in Christ that we move and have our being.
