[Audio] Summary (one paragraph): The summary should be a clear and concise description of the reading. The theoretical background, research setting and methodology, findings, overall impact, limitations, and suggestions for future research are all relevant areas to consider for empirical papers. For review articles and book chapters, outline and summarize the broad themes and trajectory of the paper (including theory, methods, summaries of findings, the overall message of the topic, and research ideas described or generated by the work). Do not copy and paste from the reading. Technical questions (2-3 sentences per question): Propose at least 1 question that is methodological, statistical, or analytical in nature. Provide an answer to the question, to the best of your ability. These should be graduate-level questions, and not "softballs" that you pitch to yourself. Substantive questions (2-3 sentences per question): Propose at least 1 question that is more theoretical or philosophical in nature – issues that can generate class discussion and show the depth of your insight re: the reading. You might choose to propose novel research ideas, connect research findings to public health or other "real world" issues, criticize or evaluate theoretical propositions, discuss generalizability, etc. in this section. You must also provide some answer to this question, or at least the beginning of a discussion on it..
