You have the power to prevent ladder accident by always choosing the right ladder for the job at hand, carefully inspect the selected ladder before use, setup ladder correctly and climb safely. Be careful when working with ladder and avoid overreaching. Ladder safety rules. Face the ladder when climbing up or down Always using at least one hand to grip the ladder when climbing up or down Having another employee or staff member hold large ladders when climbing always Maintain three points of control Properly illuminating the work area to identify potential dangers Communicating defects and hazards when noticed so they can be repaired before future use Avoid climbing the ladder with loads..
