Calculations:. 1- Total wt. = 510 + 180 + 270 + 150 = 1110 g ≈ 1000 g. 2- 25% excess 25/100 * 20 g = 5g excess 25 g medicated granules should be prepared 3- Amount of drug = 15/100 *25 g = 3.75 g drug 4- Amount of plain powders = Total weight – Amount of drug = 25 g - 3.75 g = 21.25 g 5- F = D/G = 21.25 / 1000 =0.02125.
