Abraham called the father of both religion the Jews and  Muslims. In 1000 BCE king Saul established Israelite monarchy King Solomon build first Jewish temple in Jerusalem. Home of Jews, Muslims and Christians  

Scene 3

In the Europe Jews also faced  oppression and persecution so they fled  to the promised land  Palestine under ottoman empire. By 1914 there were more than 75 thousand Jews. After WW1 British took control over Israel,  Palestine and Jordan. 

Scene 4

In 1922 League of nation approved  a British declaration of promising  Jews a national homeland in Palestine. In 1939 WW2 broke out 6 million Jews were  murdered in the Holocaust. 

Scene 5

After 1947 the UN proposed  a partition of Palestine into two states. The Jew state of Israel and the Arab state of Palestine Israel approved the partition but  the Arab state did not agreed  and soon violence broke out.  

Scene 6

Israel is attacked by Syria, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq. Israel defeated all the countries and  gain more territory. 

Scene 7

Egypt attempts to control  a Canal from the Mediterranean sea to stop  supplies getting to Israel Britain and France send troops to stop Egypt. Israel joins in and attacks Egypt. This heightens tension between Egypt and Israel 

Scene 8

Palestine Liberation Organization. Formed in 1964. Aim was to free Palestine from Israeli control through force. Leader was Yasir Arafat. PLO leads many attacks on Israeli civilians and  military. 

Scene 9

Seeing Egypt, Syria and  Jordan are getting ready to attack  Israel, Israel attacks all 3 countries at the same time. Israel is able to quickly defeat all three. Israel takes land from all 3 countries Israel doubles  in size. 

Scene 10

Egypt and Syria attack Israel on the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur. Israel successfully defends  itself with no changes in borders. Middle eastern countries agree  to stop sending oil to western countries like the US.  

Scene 11

Spill over into Russia and US. Russia supplies Arab countries with weapons US supplies Israel with weapons Tension rise between US and Russia 

Scene 12

Camp David Accords US president Jimmy Carter meets  with leader from Israel (Begin) and Egypt (Sadat). Israel agrees to give back territory to Egypt Egypt agrees to recognize Israel's independency 

Scene 13

Sadat is assassinated shortly afterward by Muslim extremists who did not want  peace. 

Scene 14

Group of regular Palestine civilians begin  an uprising against Israel's military occupation 

Scene 15

Fearing Iraq may be making  nuclear weapons, Israel destroys  Iraq's nuclear factories 

Scene 16

Invades because PLO headquarters are  in Lebanon's capital Beirut Israel attack to stop PLO attacks 

Scene 17

Israel and the PLO agree  to cease-fire and for Israel to return  to their pre 6 day war boundaries 

Scene 18

US president Clinton meets  with Israeli leader Yitzhak Rabin and  PLO leader Yasir Arafat. West bank and Gaza Strip are  to be given to Palestinians to run. Israel is promised peace During peace rally following the peace process Rabin is  assassinated by an Israeli militant who was  against peace 

Scene 19

Second Intifada: More violance against israelis for their continued military presence in Palestine area. Israel reacts: Israel sends troops to West Bank and Gaza. Israel starts building fence around Gaza Strip. 

Scene 20

An extremist group called  Hezbollah takes control of Lebanon. Israeli soldiers kidnapped Rockets started attacking Israel invades Lebanon to stop the attacks. Invasion succeed  and attacks stopped. 

Scene 21

In retaliation of Israelis continued  military presence in the Gaza Strip the groups Hamas start  launching rockets into Israel. Israel reacts by bombing the rocket sites and sending  troops to Gaza.
