[Audio] We have dedicated lecturers to conduct this course. They are Ms. Fara and Mr. Afwan Hakim. Both are certified from Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and both are very experienced for many years in the logistics industry itself..

Mr. Hakim is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) and a member of The Society of Logisticians Malaysia (LogM). He was in logistics industries before joined to the career in academics and has experiences in setting up warehouse for a major O&G company in Malaysia, inland distribution and project management. He has obtained his Master of Science (Transportation Planning) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Ms. Fara is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). She was experienced in the warehousing, transportation and logistics industries over 25 years and attached to several international companies before joined to the career in academics. She has obtained her Master of Education (Leadership and Management) from Universiti Teknologi MARA. Currently she is pursuing her doctorate degree from the same university in Business Management.

[Audio] In the course introduction, you will learn topic 1 of supply chain, topic 2 of customer service, topic 3 transportation, topic 4 of international logistics, topic 5 of distribution center and plant location, topic 6 of inventory management and finally topic 7 of procurement..

04 Evaluate the quality issues in procurement and supplier selection

02 Examine the establishing of customer service objectives and describe the measurement and control of customer services in terms of influence in facility location and transportation costs.

03 Differentiate the various inventory flow patterns and discuss special concerns with inventory management as well as the transport requirements.
