DAMARIS ROMERO, 6TO ECONOMIA
It’s not an Argentinian snack (Arabic
roots), but the Argentinians eat it
more often than anybody.
It’s made of 2 kinds of cookies with a sweet sauce in the middle, like dulce de leche, jam, chocolate, coconut, meringue, icing sugar, and even mousse. The biscuits are cooked in the oven and the mousse it’s usually bought in the supermarket. Also, it’s sold the final product in kiosks or supermarkets. The alfajores tastes sweet, maybe too much, that´s why you have to eat at most three, it can be cloying. It’s usually eaten at tea time, or when you wanna a snack.
