Looked for solutions outside the community. 5 They placed a trap cage to catch the predator 4 Trapped the carnivore inside the corral. Reached out to the forest department to gain technical/ financial support. Problem solving mechanism. With the help of the Forest department. Looked to find a "legitimate way" to get rid of the snow leopard. 6 Chased the carnivore away 5 Disorientation, grief, anger, loss. Community support. Forest department compensation pending. Protection of self/ finances. Expressed negative affect and frustration. Driven by anger and mob emotions, either meant to scare or maim the animal away to stop it from coming back 7 Killed the carnivore 6 Community support for the individual, trauma, grief, anger. Aggressive response. Did not believe the forest department would be helpful. Directly threatened by the animal and responded for survival reasons..
