The basis of the name Cana Celebrations is a biblical reference in which a miracle water-to-wine is performed at a wedding in Cana. This reference is significant because at the time the cultural norm was to bring the good wine out first and leave the cheap for last. However at this specific wedding it was noted that the master of the feast proclaimed the miracle wine had been better than the first cup.
