Information systems can be used to help businesses carry out day to day activities such as managing resources and analyzing data very effectively and efficiently..

[Audio] Common and Specialized computing devices. There are many definitions for computing devices but in my own words, Computing devices are machines that execute any instructions that are given. Some well known common and specialized devices are desktop computers, server computers, mainframe computers, smartphones, printers and GPS Trackers..

[Audio] The Internet. The Internet is a global network that links computers and other smart devices all over the world so that they can communicate with each other. The internet can be very useful to businesses since it provides the opportunity to improve performance in many areas whether it be marketing or holding meeting. The internet offers a range of services to its users, some of these services are Google, e-commerce, email, voice over IP and chat rooms..

The internet can be very useful to businesses since it provides the opportunity to improve performance in many areas. Companies may view Information systems as a means to help carry out specific tasks and roles within the business. Many businesses utilize information systems to help manage their operations, interact with consumers and stay ahead of their competition. With the arrival of the Internet and new high-tech devices being produced, companies can now develop a Information System to excel in many areas such as Productivity, Communication, Creativity, Management and Advertising..

Many businesses utilize information systems to help manage their operations, interact with consumers and stay ahead of their competition. With the arrival of the Internet and new high-tech devices being produced, companies can now develop a Information System to excel in many areas such as:

[Audio] Productivity can be defined as working efficiently and completing tasks in a timely manner. New specialized devices can help employees get their tasks done a lot faster thereby boosting productivity. Communication is the process of sharing and receiving messages between people. New apps have been introduced that allows communication to become more flexible and happen at faster rate which makes it easier to reach potential customers. Creativity is the ability to generate unique and imaginative ideas. The internet has provided a variety of ways for people to show their creative ideas. Management is defined as the way businesses organize and coordinate tasks to achieve a goal. Technology can be used to help keep track of processes taking place and it also makes managing employees much easier. Advertising is the act of bringing attention to a product or service. Advertising can now be done on social media where it will be almost guaranteed to reach millions of people who are on the internet everyday. It can be concluded that the internet and new devices has made business activities much easier to carry out..
