For the past few years the numbers of educational institutions are increasing rapidly. Thereby the numbers of hostels are also increasing for the accommodation of the students studying in this institution. And hence there is a lot of strain on the person who are running the hostel and software’s are not usually used in this context. This particular project deals with the problems on managing a hostel and avoids the problems which occur when carried manually .Identification of the drawbacks of the existing system leads to the designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing system with the system which is more users friendly and more GUI oriented Keyword :-Hostel Management System ,GUI , Development 1. TNTRODUCTION:- This system is designed in favor of the hostel management which helps them to save the records of the students about their rooms and other things. It helps them from the manual work from which it is very difficult to find the record of the students and the mess bills of the students, and the information of about the those ones who had left the hostel. All the hostels at present are managed manually by the hostel office. The Registration form verification to the different data processing is done manually. Thus there are a lot of repetitions which can be easily avoided. And hence there is a lot of strain on the person who are running the hostel and software’s are not usually used in this context. Admin can login into the system and can add, delete, update the records. Login :This module is used for admin login.  Dashboard : Admin dashboard related total students, total rooms, total courses.  Course Creation: Admin can add and manage course(Add, edit and delete)  Rooms- Admin can create rooms(seater, fees)(Add, edit and delete)  Students Registration :Admin can register student profile .  Manage Student :(View and Delete)  Admin Profile  Change password  Access log :admin can see user login access details Chart -1DAIGRAM 2.1 USER MODULE:-1  User Registration  User Login  User forgot Password  User Profile : User can update own profile after login  Change Password : Allow user to change the password.  Book Hostel :User can book own hostel  Hostel details : user can see own hostel details  Access log : User can see own login access log  logout 2.2 SYSTEM REQURIMENT: Software Requirements Specification plays an important role in creating quality software solutions. Requirements are represented in a manner that ultimately leads to successful software implementation. Representation format and content should be relevant to the problem. CONCLUSIONS Hence to overcome the manual methods for Hostel booking we have come up with a solution to make it advanced using technologies like HTML, CSS JS PHP MYSQL and BOOTSTRAP. This project can be used as hybrid all the hostels can register themselves and the students can book it according to their needs. Also we have added grievance and filter functionality to our project.With a proper Future scope it will be good in use 5.
