Tonia Jahshan is a Canadian entrepreneur who is now the president of her founded company called Sipology Steeped Tea..

[Audio] While not much can be found about where Tonia was born or went to school as a child, she currently lives in Ancaster, Ontario with her husband Hatem, and their three children. Tonia attended Conestoga College in Cambridge, Ontario between 1993 and 1996 and received her Ontario College Diploma in the studies of Early Childhood Education. In 2006, she started her new business venture in the world of steeped teas and never looked back..

[Audio] After Tonia and her husband suffered a personal loss, they decided to go on a relaxing trip to an AIRB&B in Halifax. While there, Tonia was served a cup of Earl Grey tea that she thought was so delicious that she hoped that she could share it with others. This is how her idea for Sipology Steeped Tea came to light, which she then founded in 2006.
In 2012, Tonia and Hatem decided to appear on Dragons Den to further their business and ended up making a deal with two of the dragons including Dave Chilton and Jim Treliving..

After Tonia and her husband suffered a personal loss, they decided to go on a relaxing trip to an AIRB&B in Halifax. While there, Tonia was served a cup of Earl Grey tea that she thought was so delicious that she hoped that she could share it with others. This is how her idea for Sipology Steeped Tea came to light, which she then founded in 2006. In 2012, Tonia and Hatem decided to appear on Dragons Den to further their business and ended up making a deal with two of the dragons including Dave Chilton and Jim Treliving.

Sipology is also big into fundraising and charity work. They offer fundraising by offering 40% of sales to the approved fundraiser of choice.
To date, Sipology has raised over $100,000.00 for kids help phone and the crisis text line with those numbers continuing to grow..
