Procedures for Acclimatization:. All Supervisors will upload the OSHA/NIOSH App to their phone to monitor the weather daily. All NEW employees will be monitored for 14 day. New Employees will be paired with a experienced employee.
Procedures for Emergency Response:. Effective means of bringing emergency services to a worker in need will be ensured by a trained 1st Aid/ CPR employee ( Safety Committee member). In cases where mild symptoms are observed- the employee should be taken to the nearest climate controlled break area and be monitored. In cases where the symptom of heat stroke are shown cool employee in place or take to cooling area and call 911. The Emergency Response 1st aid team will coordinate care until advance EMS arrives..
