When we come across something new, like online learning we must reconcile it with our previous ideas and experiences, possibly changing our beliefs or dismissing the new information as irrelevant. We are, in any case, active creators of our own knowledge. Behaviorism. Behaviorist believe that the learning is one kind of correspondence between the stimulus and response. The Basic assumptions are: the behavior is the learner’s response to the environmental stimulation. As a stimulus the environment accompanied and followed the organism acts as a reaction to that all behavior is learned. Application of behavioral learning theory in the practice of school education is to urge teachers to master the method of shaping and correct student behavior, creating a learning environment for students, as much as possible to strengthen the students to the maximum extent appropriate behavior and eliminate inappropriate behavior..

FINDINGS. The majority of Cupang , Muntinlupa City, Grade 6 parents are between the ages of 31 and 40. In terms of gender, the vast majority of parents are female. Respondents strongly agree that it is the responsibility of parents to regularly check the submission of their child to their subject teachers when identifying parental involvement strategies. They are also unanimous in their belief that parents should clearly discuss the content of the performance tasks with their child. Parents have noticed that their children are active and happy while participating in and completing their modules. Also, according to the findings there is no significant difference between parental online learning strategies and pupil learning behavior..

CONCLUSIONS. The results show that parental involvement is not really associated with pupils’ educational outcomes. However, pupils’ attitudes and aspirations mediate the associations between parental involvement and academic achievement. The associations between parental involvement and pupil behavior vary according to parents age, gender and occupation. The study results highlight the importance of taking into account school level, the indirect effects of parental involvement, type of involvement and students’ gender to understand how parental involvement is associated with pupil behavior. Additionally, given the findings that parental involvement, including parental communication and parental monitoring, are positively associated with elementary especially grade 6. Teachers, schools and policymakers may need to develop programs to encourage parental involvement..

RECOMMENDATIONS. Based on the findings and conclusions of the study, the researchers forward the following recommendations to the parents, teachers and school administrators. Teachers and parents should have good communication to monitor the behavior of the pupils at home. Parents should always be ready for this new way of learning in the new milieu. Parents should find time to teach and guide their children regardless of their age, gender and occupation. Parents should open for suggestions on how they can handle the behavior of the children. Parents should explore more online parental strategies to help their children to excel in their online class or module. School administrators should conduct programs to teach the parents in proper parental involvement strategies..
