[Audio] Good afternoon everyone, I am excited to be here to present a project on AR Game Experience for CSE 496 at GTU's Computer Engineering Department. I'll be talking about how this project can provide users with augmented reality content and gifts to enjoy a more unique and valuable experience. I will also be discussing the research that I conducted to ensure the project's success, and the support I had from my project advisor, Dr. Yakup Genç. I look forward to sharing my project with you all. So let's get started..
[Audio] I, Muhammed Akif Sevilgen, have started a project regarding AR game experience as part of CSE 496 course at GTU Computer Science Engineering Department, which is supervised by Dr. Yakup Genç. This project involves making an action plan, carrying out the development process, examining any issues that come up and dealing with them. Sources will be consulted and used wherever necessary for the successful completion of this project..
[Audio] Creating an augmented reality game experience is the focus of this project. This provides us with the capability to provide an extra layer of content to regular gifts, making them more exclusive and thereby enhancing their value and importance..
[Audio] We have a timeline for our project's different stages of development from October to January. Researching AR applications and deciding on the best route to go is our focus for October. Development of the mobile app and website will begin in November. We will be doing unity AR project construction, object detection, and increasing the number of animations in December. Construction of the mobile app, website, and displaying the animations on the website is our focus for January..
[Audio] I am proud to present our AR game experience project for CSE 496 at the Computer Science Engineering Department of GTU in January 2024, under the instruction of Dr. Yakup Genç. We have been successful in constructing an AR project on Unity, making animations to augment reality, applying image tracking steps to create a realistic look and feel, creating a mobile application that uses the camera to show animations on the boxes, and engraving a QR code somewhere on the box to direct the mobile app. Additionally, we have created a website that allows customers to purchase the product, and showcases the animations while doing so..
[Audio] Currently, we are creating a new AR game experience in the mobile application. This will enable users to record their reactions to the game and its unique animations. This will enable them to share their experience with others, further enhancing the engagement with the game. We believe this feature will enrich the experience for our users and create an even greater connection with the game. " We are working hard to create an engaging AR game experience in our mobile application. Through this feature, users can capture and share their reactions to the game and its unique animations. These reactions can be shared with other users, helping to foster a deep connection with the game. We believe this will significantly enhance the user experience and create an unforgettable adventure..
[Audio] This project utilizes a new Augmented Reality implementation in a game experience. By using a combination of a 3D model of a heart shaped box placed on a wood surface, and the latest AR tools, the user will have an immersive gaming experience. The combination of this physical and virtual reality will create a truly unique experience..
[Audio] This slide features a heart-shaped box with a pink lid. This box is specifically designed for the Augmented Reality game experience. It is an interactive and immersive gaming experience that allows users to interact with the environment and feel immersed in the game. The box serves as a physical connection to the virtual environment. It has been designed to provide users with a realistic gaming experience, allowing users to interact with both the physical and virtual world. By using this box, users can explore a unique and exciting in-game environment..
[Audio] Today I'm going to talk about a project I'm presenting for CSE 496 at the Computer Science Engineering Department of GTU. This project is about creating an Augmented Reality Game Experience, and I am being advised by Dr. Yakup Genç. As you can see in this screenshot, the project creates a unique gaming experience that allows users to interact with their environment in an entirely new way. This revolutionary technology will provide users with a brand new way to enjoy playing games in their own homes..

[Audio] Muhammed Akif Sevilgen's work on AR Game Experience is displayed in this slide. This screenshot presents an example of the game, where the user can move around a 3D setting with virtual objects. Utilizing AR technology, the user can engage with those objects and enjoy a fully immersive and interactive world..
[Audio] Object detection is paramount to my CSE 496 project at GTU's Computer Science Engineering Department come January 2024. To generate an object model from images of a box, I'm employing Polycam. Subsequently, I'm leveraging Model Target Generator to create Vuforia's Model Target for use in Unity. Website development and procuring a domain, however, are too expensive, hence the decision to resort to Google Sites. Though humble compared to other environments, it offers enough features to finish the project on a satisfactory note..
[Audio] To create the most realistic AR game experience, tracking the inner surface of the box as an image is decided upon instead of detecting the box object due to the lack of details. Image tracking will be utilized to accurately map the game area, which should improve the user experience..
[Audio] The project focuses on user experience with AR technology, and the results are impressive so far. Out of 20 people presented with the product, a large 80% preferred the AR-enhanced gift boxes. Technically speaking, the AR visualization speed has been clocked at a steady 60Hz, providing a smooth experience, and users have the option of choosing from 5 different animations - ranging from 'I Love You' to a personalized text version. The project's strong performance leads to expectations of similar successes in the future..
[Audio] I'm here to present a project I've been working on for the Computer Science Engineering Department of GTU, with Dr. Yakup Genç as the project advisor. I explored the potential of AR Game Experience. Through my research, I found many resources, such as articles, publications, and tutorials, which were incredibly helpful in giving me the insight and guidance I need to bring this project to life. These included resources from Microsoft, A. M. Barone and E. Stagno, D.Schmalstieg and T.Höllerer, I. Wijesooriya, J. Linowes, and Unity Technologies. I'm delighted to present this project to the audience and hope everyone enjoys it. Thank you for listening..
