[Audio] Today, we will be discussing the concept of Multiple Choice Questions, or MCQs, which is a fundamental skill in our Grade 3 English class for the 2025-2026 school year. Our students are introduced to MCQs as a way to test their comprehension and critical thinking abilities. It is important for us as educators to teach our students how to approach MCQs effectively by reading the question carefully, analyzing options, and reviewing the text multiple times. To support our students, we will provide regular practice and opportunities in class. This will not only improve their reading skills, but also build their confidence and familiarity with this question type. As we near the end of the academic year, it is important to review and assess our students' progress. By encouraging regular reading and providing ample practice, we can prepare them for future academic challenges and equip them with necessary skills to succeed..

Scene 14 (21m 11s)

[Audio] Today, we will be discussing slide number 14 in our 36-slide presentation, which focuses on MCQs (multiple choice questions). As we review for our end-of-term assessment, it is crucial to understand the format and structure of MCQs. A multiple choice question presents a statement or question with several possible answers, and your task is to select the correct answer from the given options. MCQs are typically structured with a stem (statement or question) followed by varying options in length, some more detailed than others. When answering MCQs, it is essential to carefully read the question and pay attention to key words in order to eliminate obviously incorrect options. Some helpful tips for answering MCQs include first eliminating obviously wrong options, narrowing down choices, and using a process of elimination to select the correct answer. It is also important to pay attention to words such as "not" or "except," which can change the meaning of the question. As we prepare for our end-of-term assessment, it is crucial to practice answering MCQs and become familiar with the format. This will help us feel more confident and prepared during the actual assessment. In conclusion, understanding the structure and techniques for answering MCQs can help us be successful in our end-of-term assessment..

Scene 17 (24m 59s)

[Audio] Today, we will be discussing slide number 17 out of 36, where we will be focusing on using a Word Bank to answer questions. A Word Bank is a list of words that can be used to complete a task or answer questions. In this exercise, we will be using a Word Bank to help us complete sentences. The key to success is to read all the words first and cross off the ones you use to complete each sentence. After completing the sentences, it is important to read over them to make sure they sound correct. This will help us to improve our sentence structure and grammar skills. The words we have in our Word Bank for this exercise are: wake up, brush, eat, go to, do, take a shower, and go to bed. These words are all action verbs, meaning they show us what someone is doing. Let's put these words into practice. Here is an example sentence for you to complete using the Word Bank: "I ___ up at 7 am every morning." Can anyone tell me which word from our Word Bank fits into this sentence? The correct word is "wake up." Let's try one more: "I ___ my teeth after breakfast." Which word should go into this sentence? The word is "brush." Remember, it is important to use all the words in the Word Bank to complete the sentences correctly. This will help us to improve our sentence structure and expand our vocabulary. Now, let's move on to the next slide and try some more sentences together..

First, it is crucial to carefully read and understand the instructions. This ensures a clear understanding of expectations and how to answer questions. It is also important to have all necessary materials with you, such as pencils or pens, erasers, and rulers, to write neat and clear answers. During the EoT assessment, it is essential to write neatly and legibly so the teacher can understand your responses and give you proper credit. Take your time and read each question carefully before answering with either a pencil or pen. Writing with a pencil allows for easy corrections, while a pen provides a more permanent record of work. It is important to choose the writing tool that works best for you and ensure clear and neat writing. As each section of the test is completed, it is advised to take a deep breath and double check work. Ensure all questions are answered and responses are clear and correct. If time permits, review the work for any mistakes and make any necessary edits. Always remember to read and follow instructions, use appropriate writing tools, and double check work to do your best on the EoT assessment..

Scene 19 (28m 1s)

[Audio] As we approach the end of the school year, it is crucial to reflect on our progress and growth. Today, our focus will be on self-assessment, a valuable tool for all of us. Slide number 19 displays a happy face, symbolizing the feeling we aim for when looking back on our accomplishments and learning experiences. Self-assessment involves reflecting on our own work and evaluating our strengths and areas for improvement. It is like taking on the role of our own teacher, analyzing our work and considering both our successes and areas for improvement. By engaging in self-assessment, we become more aware of our abilities, progress, and challenges. This allows us to set goals and develop a plan to achieve them. It is essential for you to take the time to self-assess and reflect on your learning this year. On the following slide, you will see a self-assessment tool that we will utilize in class. This will help guide you through the process and enable you to make notes on your progress. It is important to be honest with yourself and avoid being too hard or too easy in your evaluation. Remember, the ultimate goal is to improve and grow. As we come to the end of this presentation, I encourage you to self-assess, set goals, and continue to be your own best teacher. Let's conclude this school year with the same happy face shown earlier. Thank you for your attention, and I am excited to see your self-assessments next week..

Self-assessment is a necessary tool for our students, empowering them to take ownership of their learning and recognize their growth. In Grade 3, students have been practicing self-assessment by reflecting on their work and setting personal goals for improvement. This not only develops critical thinking skills, but also fosters a sense of responsibility for their learning. Through self-assessment, students can identify their strengths and areas for improvement and set specific goals for their learning. This process not only improves academic performance, but also builds confidence and self-awareness. As educators, it is our role to guide students through self-assessment and provide them with meaningful feedback. This instills in them the lifelong skill of self-reflection, benefiting them in future academic and personal pursuits. Let us continue encouraging our Grade 3 students to embrace self-assessment and strive for continuous improvement. Together, we can help them develop a positive attitude towards their learning and witness their growth into confident and independent learners. Thank you. [Audio] We are now on slide number 33 of our presentation titled "Grade 3 EoT T1 Review." Today, we will be reviewing what we have learned in our English class with Ms. Dayna. The text on this slide, "I live in a tall apartment building. My house has rooms upstairs and rooms downstairs," is a great example of using descriptive words to paint a picture in our minds. Descriptive words are words that describe or give details about something. This text describes the type of house the speaker lives in. Let's take a closer look at the text. The speaker's house is in a tall apartment building, which suggests a high building with multiple floors. The word "tall" gives us an idea of its height. The speaker's house has two levels with rooms both upstairs and downstairs. This clear and concise arrangement of information helps us understand and remember it better. As we continue, let us pay attention to the use of descriptive words in the text. They make the information more interesting and engaging. We can also identify different parts of the text to see how the information is grouped together. Effective communication involves not only the words we use, but also how we present them. This text is a perfect example of that. Let's keep these points in mind as we move to the next slide..

[Audio] We are now on slide 34 out of 36 in our presentation on the Grade 3 End-of-Term T1 Review for the 2025-2026 school year. As we prepare for our upcoming End-of-Term 1 Exam, we must focus on improving our writing skills. On this slide, we will practice writing by describing our homes and their locations in our neighborhoods. This exercise will not only help in the exam, but also in our daily lives. My house is situated next to the Cycle 1 school in my neighborhood. It is a small, two-story house with a blue door and white shutters. There is a small garden in the front and a backyard with a swing set. My house is special to me because it holds many cherished memories with my loved ones. Now it's your turn to describe your own home, using descriptive words and including its location. This will make your writing more interesting and engaging. Take your time and be creative. Writing is a crucial skill that will continue to benefit you in your academic and personal life. Keep practicing and always strive to improve. Let's move on to the next slide and continue our End-of-Term T1 Review..

Scene 35 (50m 28s)

[Audio] We have reached the 35th slide out of 36 in our presentation. On the screen, you can see an image of a happy face with the words "Self-Assessment". Self-assessment is an effective tool in our learning process. It involves evaluating our own work and progress to identify our strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to take ownership of our learning and make improvements. As we near the end of our first term, it is important to take some time for self-assessment. Reflect on the work we have done, the skills we have learned, and the challenges we have faced. Ask yourself, "How have I improved? What do I still need to work on?" Self-assessment is not about perfection, but about setting goals and making progress towards them. It requires honesty and taking responsibility for our own learning. In our Grade 3 English class, we have worked hard to improve our reading, writing, and speaking skills. I am confident that each of you has made significant progress. However, it is also important to recognize the areas where we can still improve. Take a moment to assess your own learning and keep in mind that self-assessment is an ongoing process. Let's continue to work towards our goals and become better learners..

[Audio] As we reach the end of our presentation, we will now review the final slide, which is number 36 out of 36. The title of this presentation is "Grade 3 EoT T1 Review" for our Grade 3 English class here at Ms. Dayna's School, for the school year 2025-2026. On this last slide, we can see a summary of the events that occurred on December 11th and 12th, 2025. These dates fall within our school's Zero Period, which is dedicated to extracurricular activities and academic support for our students. During these two days, our students were actively engaged in their academic pursuits and were working hard towards their goals. They utilized every minute of their Zero Period to improve their skills and knowledge in various subjects. As educators, it is always a joy to see our students taking their education seriously, even outside of regular school hours. We are proud to see them putting in the extra effort to excel, as every effort contributes to their academic growth. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our students for their hard work and dedication during the school year 2025-2026. It has been a pleasure to guide them towards academic success. Thank you all for your attention during this presentation. We hope that it has been informative and beneficial for you all. Have a wonderful day..
