INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT GOALS 2023 -24

We will be looking at hardware/server, software/programing, editing, editing software, designs, content writing, review, vision 2025 and the go-digital initiative. [Audio] The Information Technology Department has three main objectives for the 2023-24 School Year. To begin with, we aim to provide the best and most current tools and resources to our students for educational excellence. Secondly, we seek to promote cutting-edge technological development so that our students are able to compete in the ever-changing technological environment of the 21st century. Finally, we are devoted to equipping our students with the skills and knowledge to serve their communities and the world as God-class skilled servant leaders. Through these goals, we are confident that the Information Technology Department will help guide our students to success in the 2023-24 School Year..

[Audio] Technology is an ever-changing resource that can have powerful impacts on educational systems. To keep up with advancements in technology, our school has established goals for our Information Technology Department for 2023-24. To meet these goals, we plan to upgrade our Wi-Fi system, purchase 25 Windows 10 licenses, and upgrade the server RAM from 64 GB to 128 GB. We are also looking to increase our internet speed to 1GB and bring KinderKare and other school locations under the network. Accomplishing these objectives will ensure that our students and staff have access to dependable and up-to-date technology..

[Audio] Our Information Technology Department has ambitious goals for the 2023-2024 academic year. To start, we plan to upgrade our Moodle platform from version 3.8 to 4.1. Additionally, we intend to integrate an online radio with our website and Youtube. We will also be developing a desktop application with design, xerox, photocopy, scan, and other features. Finally, our goal is to create a mobile app for internal use with the aim of facilitating communication and access to information between departments..

[Audio] We have some exciting goals for our department’s development over the next two years. Our first goal is to purchase two original licenses for Filmora 11 and Flexclip. Our second goal is to identify and recruit one full time qualified editor. Our third goal is to have our editors undergo a short-term training in editing. Our priority is to identify and purchase software to create and upload promotive verses and YouTube shorts. Furthermore, our aim is to generate income through website design services for the public. Through the accomplishment of our short-term goals, we can develop a viable foundation for our future success..

[Audio] The Information Technology Department is creating a platform to help students reach their goals in 2023-24. This platform will include the development of an e-magazine that will feature positive affirmations, youth talk, youth discussion, and animated stories. In addition, the department plans to add 250 books to its digital library and write content for all courses in its LMS with a uniform course description. With this platform, students should have more success in pursuing their goals..

[Audio] We have a few specific tasks to meet our 2023-2024 goals. Our tasks include reviewing 70 courses, titling 150 individual videos, and preparing short content for 50 courses. It may be a lot of work, but I'm certain that with our team, we can make it happen. Meeting these goals now will put us on the path to success..

Additionally, we will be focusing on increasing our knowledge in the IT sector and increasing our understanding of the industry’s trends and developments.
