We start with understanding forces and the basics of machines like levers, inclined planes and pulleys. We illustrate how different mechanisms, like cams, gears and worms, are made and operated. We focus on the fundamentals of electricity, including series and parallel circuits, and the designing of simple circuits. We examine the link between magnetism and electricity and explain Ampere's and Faraday's laws. Lastly, we discuss pneumatics and pressure, looking at employing models like vacuum cleaners, air cushion vehicles and pneumatic cars. [Audio] Wind and solar energy are excellent sources of renewable energy which we can use to generate electricity for everyday life as well as teach children the concept of green energy. Through practical experience they can learn the convenience of solar energy, as well as harnessing the power of water resources. By looking at surface tension, buoyancy and pressure, children are able to apply these concepts in real life. Chemical energy can power batteries and further insights can be gained through experiments with changes in concentration, specific gravity and electrolyte solutions. Optics and imaging principles can also be explored, along with 3D imaging and film projection, allowing children to learn the fundamentals of optics.
