[Audio] The experiential learning portion is your opportunity to participate in active research taking place here at the University of Michigan. Research is critical to furthering the understanding of human behavior. This is a requirement of the department of psychology for successful completion of the course. It is separate from the course requirements your instructor will have and for this reason you will want to email all your questions to: subject dot pool at you mich dot ee dee you. Do Not ask your instructor, a G S I or a researcher. Through participation you will learn different methods of conducting research, what it's like to participate in research, and since many of you will go on to conduct your own research, you'll gain insight on how you may want to run your own research..
