The H-I-S team is responsible for updating patient order details in the Patient Order Table after each patient registration, categorized by test. (see order table image below) 3. After receiving a sample, the end user must place it in the analyzer. The analyzer will scan the sample tube and retrieve corresponding orders from the Maclinkz Host PC based on the scanned barcode. We will usually open a WhatsApp group or email group with my engineers, lab technicians handling the analyzer, and the lims vendor engineer. 2. Once you confirm the machines to be interfaced, we will provide the cable pin configuration. 3. If necessary, the L-I-S host manual must be shared by the lims team. 4. After the cabling is complete between the analyzer and the host PC (according to the cable pin configuration recommended by us), the host PC remote must be shared (AnyDesk/UltraViewer). 5. If the communication between the analyzer and the host PC is working properly, we will take the raw data output and create an application within 2-3 hours. 6. We will deploy the S-Q-L database on the host PC. 7. Once we deploy the executable files, we will ask the lab technician to run a sample with the correct barcode ID to confirm if we are receiving results in our interface server table. If we do receive results, it means that the unidirectional integration is complete. 8. The test names and host codes of the machines must be mapped with the lims test names and test parameter IDs (this is because the test names and codes of the machines will be different from the lims test names and IDs). 9. If the machine has bidirectional capability, the HIS/LIMS vendor must update the patient order in our order table. Once the sample tube is scanned, we will send the order (test name) to the analyzer. The analyzer will run and send the results to our table. Bidirectional integration is now complete. 10.
