[Audio] The elements of art are the basic parts that make up any artwork. They help us see, identify, and understand an artwork more easily. These elements include line, shape, color, value, form, texture, and space. Every artwork, whether it is traditional like painting and sculpture or modern and digital using technology, makes use of these elements. Without them, an artwork would not be complete or meaningful..

Scene 6 (2m 31s)

[Audio] Elements of Art Line – A line is the distance between two points or the path of a moving point. It can take many different forms, such as straight, curved, or zigzag. Shape – A shape is a flat figure that shows the outline of something we can see, like a circle, square, or triangle. Color – Color means the different hues and shades used in art and design. It makes artworks more lively and expressive. Value – Value is how light or dark a color is. It shows shading and highlights in an artwork to make it look more realistic. Form – A form is created when two or more shapes are combined or when a shape becomes three-dimensional, like a cube, pyramid, or sphere. Texture – Texture is how a surface looks or feels in an artwork. It can be rough, smooth, soft, or hard. Space – Space is the area around, between, or within parts of an artwork. It can make objects look near or far. These elements of art are very important in both traditional art and technology-based art. Just like painters or sculptors, digital artists also use these elements as their guide in creating artworks..

Scene 7 (3m 51s)

[Audio] Technological advancement is something we cannot stop—it keeps on growing every day and affects almost every part of our lives. Arts are no exception, since art also changes and evolves as technology develops. Today, computer technology is part of our daily life. With gadgets like desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, or smartphones, anyone can capture and edit photos or videos, create and share artworks, and even compose music. Before, traditional artists used palettes, brushes, inks, paints, and other materials on paper, canvas, walls, or fabrics. But now, many artists use technology to make their masterpieces. They explore image editing programs and applications to create artworks, both in physical and virtual form. This gave rise to digital art—a type of art made using gadgets like computers, smartphones, or graphic tablets. Over time, computer-generated art has become widely accepted, especially among the younger generation of artists who see it as a serious form of artistic expression. Technology based arts, are produced digitally through the use of computer or gadgets, not traditional materials. are easy to reproduce and share allows communication among artists and audiences (online man o hindi) can be accessed and shared through internet uses art elements to continuously make an attractive and more beautiful output.

Let's get to know some of them: Vincent Rhafael Aseo – An independent visual artist who works with algorithmic art, drawings, and mixed media. One of his works is The Song of Venus. Ronnie del Carmen – A Filipino animator and director who co-directed the Disney Pixar film Inside Out.
