[Audio] My name is Kurt Schierl and I will be accompanying you through this session together with my colleague Gabriela Vaz.Gabriela Vaz has been in my team for about 2 years and is responsible for the topics of in-cylinder combustion and fuel cells. She is therefore predestined to provide support in this session and possibly answer questions about our software packages.Gabriela studied in Brazil and graduated with a Master's degree. After spending about a year each in Portugal and France, she worked as a research engineer at L'Orange. Her main tasks were injection simulation, optimization and cavitation calculation. Why am I particularly pleased to be chairing this session? We are combining two subject areas that have accompanied me almost from the beginning of my career at AVL. For more than 20 years, I have been involved in development tasks related to the combustion engine, from naturally aspirated engines, direct injection gasoline, diesels to gas engines. This has always been great fun for me and still drives us as AVL employees.I also got to know the second topic of fuel cells right at the beginning of my professional career in Graz, back then as an observer.The first developer for a fuel cell model in AVL FIRE sat diagonally opposite me in the office. After that, I had less contact with the topic of fuel cells for a few years, and it wasn't until around 2012 that my team began to work more intensively on the subject as part of a research project with Ellring-Klinger. And the development of know-how and expertise has continued to this day.I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer and would like to move on to the presentationsI won't keep you in suspense any longer and will now move on to the presentations.

[Audio] The storage and transportation of green energy in the form of hydrogen poses a number of challenges. One possibility is to store the energy in ammonia and use it as an energy supplier. In the next 20 minutes, Mr. Plass will give an insight into the simulation of ammonia cracker plants and how they can be operated efficiently.
