Introduction. Evidence-based practice (EBP) is an approach that was created to assist clinicians with decision-making. It promotes high-quality and cost-effective patient care based on the latest research. This concept originated from Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) during the 1990s. it was popularized by Dr. David Sackett and his colleagues They emphasized using the latest and best evidence in making patient care decisions. Also, it provides nurses with a framework for continuous learning and improvement. It aims to improve the overall patient health outcomes..

Assessing the outcome involves evaluating the effectiveness of the applied evidence-based intervention..
