One of the requirements of the environmental standard is to establish, implement and maintain a procedure for managing its environmental aspects. We are also required to determine the Significance of Aspects and to take into account the significant aspects in our Environmental Management System..

Emergencies. Emergencies will be coordinated by Emergency Coordinators Emergency Coordinators are available for every shift. Emergency Coordinators are: 1st shift, Melvin Downs, Production Supervisors & Shift Supervisors.

Reporting Emergencies. First: Contact the on duty Emergency Coordinator Contact the Backup to the Coordinator If time does not permit call 911 For Fires, explosions, or natural disasters use the phone alarm system. Evacuate to safe area if necessary.

[image]. Best Management Practices. Prevent leak/spills during transfers. Use drip pans or other devices to catch oil when disconnecting hoses and pipes. Use proper equipment in good condition. Correct deficiencies in a timely manner and notify supervision of deficiencies found..

Best Management Practices. In general, two persons are required to be on duty when bulk product transfers are made (e.g., tanker truck loading/unloading) Spill equipment - know where it’s located. Protect drains Outside storm drains must be protected during transfers/loading/unloading. Inside drains (outside, if possible) must be permanently protected from fuels/oils, and other materials unpermitted for discharge..
