Note: Waiting period is applicable for the first time of subscription and if product renewed after expiry date. Note: The person can make claim only after they have been hospitalized for more than 48 hours (but the coverage provided shall be from the 1 st day of hospitalization itself)

Policy Exclusions: The Company shall not be liable to make any payment under this Policy in respect of any expenses whatsoever incurred by any Insured Person in connection with or in respect of: Any Disease suffered by the Insured Person during the first 3 days or 8 days respectively for silver and gold product from the commencement date of the Policy. Injury or Disease directly or indirectly caused by War, Invasion, Act of foreign Enemy, Hostilities or Warlike operations and breach of Criminal Law by the Insured Person. Circumcision unless necessary for treatment of a disease, vaccination or inoculation or change of life or cosmetic or aesthetic treatment, plastic surgery other than as may be necessitated due to an accident. Routine eye examinations and cost of glasses and contact lenses. Dental treatment or surgery of any kind unless necessitated by an accident or due to a constitutional disease. Convalescence, nervous breakdown, congenital defects or anomalies, venereal diseases, insanity, intentional self Injury any Disease or Injury directly or indirectly attributed to the use of intoxicating drugs or liquors. Charges incurred for diagnostic, X-Ray or laboratory examinations or other diagnostic studies. Expenses on vitamins and tonics unless forming part of treatment for Injury or Disease as certified by the attending Physician. Injury or Disease directly caused by or arising from ionizing radiations or contamination by radio activity from any source whatsoever. Injury or Disease directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by nuclear weapons/materials. (a) Treatment arising from or traceable to pregnancy, childbirth including normal caesarean section; (b) Abortion or miscarriage or any complications and/or sequel therefrom unless arising out of accident. (*Refer to the policy wording for more details)

Note: First notice of loss should be given within 7 days from the date of Hospitalization and the claim must be filed within 15 days after completion of treatment under Hospitalization. Note: Failure to give notice or file such claim in time as provided in above condition may not invalidate or reduce any claim if it is substantiated that it was not reasonably possible for the Insured Person to give notice or file claim within the prescribed time.
