Investigate the Utilization of GIS Technology in Smart Cities: Emulating the Principle and approaches from the US to the UK

The research aims at gathering vital information on the principle and approaches to the utilization of GIS technology in the smart cities of the UK and USA. The research objectives  includes,

1. To review principles and approaches in the US to the UK.

2. To apply data comparisons on sensors, images, videos and audio recordings.

3. To develop product for improving smart city applications.

4. To suggest appropriate recommendations.

The purpose of this study is to investigate with the help of a case study the success of  IoT  and GIS from the perspective of application and usability.

This research will apply product development approach wherein the product essential for improving the smart city application performances will be developed.

By reporting to the local residents, higher level authorities and political leaders in the city, quick responsiveness of the administrative system can be expected.

The product will be developed using CSS and HTML along with other supportive applications.

Two way communication system will be deployed.

The use of Static Analysis will be made for developing a supportive GIS Technology system that initiates reporting to the concerned authorities.

The ethical issues will be  considered wherein  the personal information or images or videos of the passer bye will be blurred to avoid   privacy issues.
