We will examine the sources and causes of environmental pollutants and hazards explore ways to avoid and address these problems examine community action programs and study the environmental regulations and legislation for the protection of our environment and to promote environmental justice. To get us started I asked you to draw out how you dispose of your waste and from your discussion it is clear that you understand the importance of the 3Rs reduce reuse and recycle composting and donating or selling items that are still usable or in good condition. To assess your knowledge and understanding of the topic we took a pre-test. Other practices or ways to dispose of waste responsibly include proper segregation of waste and safe disposal of hazardous waste. You all have a good grasp of the lesson. Air and water pollution climate change hazardous waste and food safety are just some of these issues that can cause harm. This helps conserve resources energy and money and limits the increasing paper waste in our environment. Moreover having a large pile of paper in our homes is a fire hazard thus reusing paper can make our homes safer..
