[Audio] Firstly, lets understand what is database first Data is the information any company or individual has; it is the most important asset for any company and database it the storage where such data can be strategically stored to ensure credibility and security. In today's world, there is a huge market which provides such databases and is known as database market. It is the growing market which focus to provide different ways to organise data. Some companies provide database system which target security whereas some targets easy accessibility, some are cheaper option, some can store large files etc. There is no doubt that it is totally in-demand and is expected to grow both in size and complexity. By 2026,in-memory database market is expected to surpass $12.1 billion as per Mordor Intelligence..

First player to talk about is Oracle By definition, it supports for multi-workload, multi-model, and multi-tenant requirements within a single, converged database engine and known as world's largest database management company. It is also known as low code platform which means no or very little code is required for development purposes. Moving to the question who owns it, then , it is Owned by company Oracle Corporation and the owner is Larry Ellison Talking about how big the company is? It is Ranked as third-largest software company in the world by revenue in 2020, having Offices in 75 countries with 430,000 customers and Employs 164,000 headcount. It has also spent US$72B in R&D and more than US$110B on around 150 acquisitions since 2012 Fiscal year. When it comes to targeted sectors, it targets data science, data security and big data. It means, it has full compatibility with data science and big data tools for integration and development and it provided zero leakage when comes to data security. General Speaking, Oracle main competitors are : Microsoft VMWare Google.

[Audio] But if Considering only database products, then main competitors are: IBM, SAP and Amazon Aurora It offers products related to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Applications, Java SE, Java Card and Oracle Exadata As it is a big company, database product is not the only product in portfolio but is one of the important feature where Oracle Database 23c is the latest version known as the world's most powerful database and is available on Oracle Base Database Service on OCI. Its database is generally known as Oracle Database or simply by the name of Oracle. As Oracle has mastery over number of services and products, so database is not the only section in the portfolio but still, is one of the important aspect..

[Audio] Next Player in Database market is MySQL. By definition, it is relational database management system and is a open source which means it is available for everyone free of cost. When it comes to question that who owns it, then, it was created by a company called MySQL AB and founders are Allan Larson, Michael Widenius and David Axmark. But, later on MySQL AB was bought by sun microsystems which is currently knows as Oracle corporation .Moved to next question, how big the company is? Then, the original founder company was smaller and has only 400 employees whereas current company has global presence. It has offices in 75 countries serving 430000 customers and has 164000 employees working. Talking about targeted sector, it generally target data science and data security. It means, MySQL is compatible with data science tools for development and it has full data security as well. There is no data leakage and any company who use it, can rely on security .Speaking about competitor, generally MySQL has Microsoft, IBM and Amazon as competitor but if focused on only database sector, then Mongo DB, Amazon Aurora and IBM are top competitors..

As already said, MySQL prominent sector is related to database only, so database is the most important feature in its product portfolio. Coming to question who owns it, it is developed by company called as MongoDB Inc. and Current versions are licensed under the Server-Side Public License which is considered non-free by some organizations and distributions. It means, MongoDB is compatible with data analytics tools for development and it has full data security as well. There is no data leakage and any company who use it, can rely on security .Speaking about competitor, generally MongoDB has Microsoft, Google and DataStax competitor but if focused on only database sector, then Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL are top competitors..

[Audio] Atlas, MongoDB, Realm, Search, Stream Processing and Data API are its top products. Speaking of position of database product in portfolio, then , it holds great place in MongoDB Platform. It comes under MongoDB database as well API are released to store the data securely. Apart of the products mentioned in portfolio, 60% are directly related to database management and storing data whereas as other are related to data processing and streaming..

It is a German multinational software company based in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, and Known as world's leading enterprise resource planning (ERP) software vendor where Enterprise software are developed. It is famous for Managing business operations and customer relations. Talking about who owns it, it is by company SAP. Coming to question how big company is, then, it is Considered as largest non-American software company by revenue and Considered as world's third-largest publicly traded software company by revenue sector, it generally target data analytics and data security. It means, MongoDB is compatible with data analytics tools for development and it has full data security as well. There is no data leakage and any company who use it, can rely on security .Speaking about competitor, generally MongoDB has Saleforce, IBM and Adobe as competitor but if focused on only database sector, then Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft Dynamics are top competitors..

SAP is one of the oldest platform for performing multiple activities, in-house operations, managing data etc. and database is one of the are which hold the portfolio space. Talking about numbers, 30% portfolio belongs to database products directly and indirectly..

In strength, reputable brand, affordability, task-oriented feature and marketing strategy is taken into consideration where SAP has better reputable brand and string online marketing as compared to other competitors. Coming to weakness, SAP lags behind in rating and availability of too many products in portfolio as compared to other companies Coming to opportunities, MySQL has option to enhance the features to attract more customers and MongoDB needs more workforce to up the game. In threats, new competition, better products in market from competition and high infrastructure cost is the headache for every company.
