[Virtual Presenter] Today we will be discussing the first slide out of 25 in our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger. This book offers insight and scriptural references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. In this first slide, we will focus on the title of the book and key scripture references from the book of Daniel. As referenced in Daniel 12:10, understanding and wisdom play a crucial role in comprehending the events of the end times, as the wicked will remain ignorant while the wise will understand. We are also reminded in Daniel 12:4 that knowledge will increase at the end times, leading many to seek and search for it. This is a powerful reflection of the current state of the world, with the rapid rise of knowledge and increased turmoil. Additionally, we learn that the physical location of the book is Jerusalem, Israel, adding authenticity and proximity to the events discussed. The book was republished in 1999 and edited in 2000, providing a more contemporary understanding of the text. The editor's note clarifies that this is an abridged version, with a focus on scripture references rather than quoting entire books. The table of contents outlines the different sections of the book and what we can expect to learn from each chapter. As we continue through the presentation, it is important to consider the themes of understanding and wisdom and their significance in relation to the end times. Our next slide will delve deeper into the book of Daniel. Thank you for your attention..

[Audio] This training video focuses on the book of Daniel and Revelation by A.N. Dugger. We will be discussing chapters 3-7, which provide an explanation and scripture references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. These chapters aim to help us understand the events to come and the increasing turmoil caused by the wicked. Moving on to slide 2, we will discuss "The Messiah's Kingdom of Stone" and the Prophet Daniel's vision of the fourth beast, which represents the period of the little horn. This prophecy has already been fulfilled, as the little horn symbolizes a powerful ruler who has tampered with the Ten Commandments, leading to increased turmoil. In chapter 8, Daniel has a vision of a ram, and in chapter 9, he prophesies about the coming Messiah and the seventy weeks. This chapter reveals the purpose of Gabriel's visit. Chapter 10 shows Daniel witnessing a glorious vision and receiving further understanding from Gabriel. In chapter 11, we learn about the overthrow of Persia and in chapter 12, the prophecy of the general resurrection is foretold, reminding us of the ultimate victory of good over evil. Chapter 1 describes the exile of Judah's king Jehoiakim, and in chapter 2, we learn about Nebuchadnezzar's dream, which concerns the events of the latter days. As stated in verse 28, "There is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to king Nebuchadnezzar, what shall be in the latter days." In conclusion, let us also take note of verse 45, which states that the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter and that this dream is certain and its interpretation sure, highlighting the accuracy and reliability of God's prophecies. Thank you for watching this segment of our presentation on the book of Daniel. Please stay tuned for more insights on this important book..

Scene 3 (3m 41s)

[Audio] Today, we will be discussing slide number 3 out of 25 in our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger. This book offers commentary and scripture references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge, with a focus on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil from the wicked. In this slide, we see that although the interpretation of the metal man was not in harmony with the future plans and desires of the king, he still fell upon his face and worshipped Daniel. The king even made Daniel ruler over the entire province of Babylon and chief of the governors. This is a clear example of how God can work through His people to bring about His plans. Let us now move on to the next part of the slide, which discusses a test we should give to this important matter. We must be fair with ourselves and thoroughly investigate the claims made about the metal man. The head of gold is said to represent the king of Babylon and the times when Gentile kings ruled the world. After the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, another kingdom was to rise, represented by the breasts and arms of silver. This kingdom was also to rule over the entire world, with its two arms symbolizing strength from two sides. Our historical records show that the Medes and Persians overthrew Babylon and established the Medo-Persian empire in 538 B.C. Moving on to the third kingdom, represented by the brass portion of the Gentile man, we see that it too was to bear rule over the world. According to our records, this kingdom was the Grecian empire, led by Alexander the Great. In conclusion, the metal man in this prophecy holds great significance and has come to pass just as it was foretold. It is an important matter that we should thoroughly investigate and understand, as it has been confirmed by historical records and excavations..

Scene 4 (5m 35s)

[Audio] This presentation will focus on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger and will discuss the fourth kingdom and its role in the end of times and the rise of knowledge. We are currently on slide number 4 out of 25, where we will be examining the reign of the Caesars as kings of the fourth empire, also known as the Roman kingdom. This empire began in 31 B.C. and was responsible for the destruction of the second temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D, resulting in the death of 600000 Jews. The Roman kingdom was a universal empire and fulfilled the prophecy accurately, as it was depicted as having the strength of enduring iron and dividing the world into many pieces. This is evident in the recorded histories, proving the facts discussed in our investigation. This fourth kingdom has left no room for any other ism or nation to establish a global kingdom, as the divine stone will break all Gentile kingdoms to pieces. It is essential to note that this stone represents a power beyond any earthly nation, as it was cut from a mountain without human hands. This stone will be the force behind the end of times and the rise of knowledge. Since the fourth empire, there have been several attempts to create a global kingdom, such as communism, imperialism, and capitalism, but all have failed. As we continue to explore this topic, it is crucial to understand how the wise will gain knowledge while the wicked will experience increased turmoil. This is an essential aspect of the end of times and the rise of knowledge discussed in "Daniel and Revelation," and we will further investigate it in our presentation. Keep following for slide number 5..

Scene 5 (7m 25s)

[Audio] Let's examine the historical context of the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger. The book discusses the end of times and the increase of knowledge, with a focus on understanding for the wise and turmoil for the wicked. The prophet Daniel accurately predicted the division of the fourth worldwide empire into the East and the West in 395 A.D. This is significant as we now see the same division being mentioned in current news. According to the book, this division is not a coincidence but a fulfillment of prophecy. The book also speaks about the strength of iron, representing the Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic churches, which conquered the other kingdoms represented by brass, silver, and gold. This is evident in the historical events of the First and Second World Wars and the ongoing turmoil in the world today. However, the prophecy does not end there. It also mentions feet made of a mixture of iron and miry clay, symbolizing the current state of earthly governments. Just as the feet are weak and unsteady, we can see the fragility and instability of governments around the world. It is crucial to understand the historical context and fulfillment of prophecy in order to gain a deeper understanding of the end of times and the rise of knowledge. Let's continue to explore the book "Daniel and Revelation" and its significance in understanding the current state of the world..

Scene 6 (8m 53s)

[Audio] The book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger contains commentary and scripture references on the end of times. This resource is valuable for those seeking to understand the rise of knowledge and the turmoil it will bring. Our study has shown that the prophesies made by Daniel have been fulfilled with incredible accuracy, giving us complete confidence in future prophesies. The four world empires, represented by gold, silver, brass, and iron, have all come and gone, as predicted by the prophet. Attempts have been made to establish another world kingdom during the iron empire, but all have failed, proving the truth of the prophet's words. Through this one line of prophecy, the God of Daniel and Israel has established Himself and assured us that all future announcements made by the same divine source will also come to pass. The book contains many more prophecies from the Word of God that reveal great things for the future. One of these is the Messiah's Kingdom of Stone. After seeing four kingdoms come and go, it is natural to wonder about the fifth kingdom. However, we must not dismiss the idea of a fifth kingdom too quickly. Just as the previous kingdoms were realities, we must believe that the fifth kingdom will also be a real and enduring kingdom. The prophet tells us that this fifth kingdom, symbolized by the stone, will last forever and will be given to the people of God. It will destroy all previous Gentile kingdoms. This fifth and final kingdom is a future reality that we can eagerly anticipate. As we continue our study, we will see the great promises that God has in store for this kingdom..

Scene 7 (10m 39s)

[Audio] This chapter discusses Nebuchadnezzar's dream, Belshazzar's impious feast, the conspiracy against Daniel, and Daniel's vision of four beasts. According to verses 1 and 2, "The four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea." This symbolizes war, death, and destruction. The prophet Jeremiah wrote, "A great whirlwind was raised up from the coasts of the earth," which resulted in death and destruction globally. In chapter 23:19, we read, "Behold a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury," indicating that the sea or water represents nations, tongues, and people. Through repeated wars, four beasts were seen to arise, as revealed to Daniel by the angel. These beasts represent four kings or kingdoms that will arise from the earth. However, the saints of the Most High will eventually take over the kingdom and possess it forever. The fourth beast, identified as the fourth kingdom on earth, is described as having its wings plucked off and standing on its feet like a man, with a man's heart given to it. To fully understand this, we must refer to chapter 4, which talks about the humbling of King Nebuchadnezzar. The three ribs in the mouth of the fourth beast represent the three provinces of Babylon that were conquered by the bear, namely Babylonia, Libya, and Egypt. It is worth noting that this vision was given almost 600 years before the birth of Christ. The first beast, the lion, symbolizes the Babylonian empire, once the ruler of the world. Through these events, we can see the rise and fall of different kingdoms, leading up to the establishment of the Kingdom of God, with our Messiah as the ultimate King. This concludes our discussion on chapter 7. Our next chapter will focus on the prophecy of the ram and the goat. Stay tuned for more insights and knowledge on the book of Daniel and Revelation..

Scene 8 (12m 39s)

[Audio] The eighth slide of our presentation focuses on the book of Daniel and Revelation written by A.N. Dugger. This book delves into the subject of the end of times and the rise of knowledge, with an emphasis on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil for the wicked. The book begins with Daniel's visions of the four great world kingdoms - Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome - that have ruled the world in their order since the days of Daniel. These visions were given with remarkable accuracy, predicting thousands of years of future history. This demonstrates that no man could have made such specific predictions without divine inspiration. Despite attempts by kings to establish another world kingdom, all have failed and will continue to fail. The next kingdom to rule will be the Kingdom of Heaven, as prayed for by the saints: "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven." The four wings mentioned in verse 6 represent speedy movement, which was exemplified by Alexander the Great who conquered the world at the young age of 32. His four leading generals, Lysimachus, Seleucus, Ptolomy, and Cassander, are represented by the four heads mentioned in the vision. These generals divided his empire after his death, as recorded in Myers' General History. Greece was represented by Alexander the Great, while the fourth beast mentioned in verse 23 represents Rome - "The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon the earth." Some may question the authorship and authenticity of the book of Daniel, as well as the existence of the prophet Daniel and King Belshazzar. However, despite claims made by leading instructors in the theological department at the University of Chicago, our faith in the Biblical record and the divine inspiration of this book remains unshaken. In fact, it has only strengthened our belief..

Scene 9 (14m 47s)

[Audio] Today we will be discussing the ninth slide of our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger. This slide focuses on the fourth kingdom, Rome, as mentioned by the angel in the book of Daniel. This fact is supported by various historical texts and encyclopedias found in libraries worldwide. Rome conquered and ruled over the known world from A.D. 351 to 476, as prophesied. The empire was then divided into ten kingdoms, including notable regions such as Anglo-Saxon (England), Burgundians (Switzerland), Franks (France), Visogoths (Spain), Lombards (Italy), and Allemani (Germany). Other kingdoms included Suevi, Vandals, Ostrogoths, and Heruli. The scriptures also predicted the rise of another power known as the little horn, which would be "diverse from the first" and subdue three of the ten kingdoms. As written in the book, this little horn would exercise both political and religious dominion and oppress the people of God. This prophecy was fulfilled with the rise of the Papacy, a religious hierarchy that united with the state, becoming a dangerous force and changing laws to exert its power. This also fulfilled the prophecy of subduing three of the ten kingdoms, as the Papacy was responsible for the downfall of the Heruli, Vandals, and Ostrogoths around 538 A.D. We will delve deeper into these revelations in our next slide. Have a great day..

Scene 10 (16m 33s)

[Audio] Today, we will be discussing the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger. This text highlights the importance of understanding for the wise and the inevitable turmoil that comes from the wicked. In addition to scripture references, the book also draws from several other reliable sources such as the Old Family Bible, Bucks Theological Dictionary, and the Britannica Encyclopedia (old edition). These sources speak of a dark period of persecution faced by those who did not yield to the doctrine and authority of Rome. During this time, the Roman hierarchy targeted not only dissenters, but also the Jewish community. The cruel treatment of the Jews began in 1483 when Queen Isabella of Spain appointed the priest Torquemada as chief inquisitor, ultimately leading to their expulsion in 1492. This is a tragic chapter in history. However, the most significant aspect of this text is the prophecy found in Daniel 7:25. It speaks of a power that will change times and laws in order to accommodate the worship of idols. Historically, this power can only be attributed to the Roman church, as seen in their elimination of the second commandment and their substitution of the Passover with Easter. The most bold challenge to God's authority is seen in their attempt to change the Holy Sabbath from the seventh day to the first day of the week. This substitution of the Sabbath, a divinely ordained day of rest, with the observance of Sunday, a relic of sun worship, is a clear indication of the Papacy's power and arrogance. And they openly admit to being responsible for this change, fulfilling the prophecy given by Daniel. It is important to note that this was not a practice of the early apostles or the early church, but rather a deliberate choice made by the Roman church. This change not only goes against God's commandments, but also disregards His creation and our need for rest. As we continue to explore the topics of end times and the rise of knowledge, let us remember the significance of understanding and staying faithful to God's laws..

Scene 11 (18m 42s)

[Audio] Today, we will discuss slide number 11 of our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger, which offers commentary and scripture references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. The apostle Paul made a powerful statement on this slide, reminding us to beware of beast worship. As we study this presentation, we will understand the importance of this message for the last days. It is important to note that our forefathers did not have access to the knowledge and understanding that we have now, and they will not be judged for what they did not know. However, as mentioned in Daniel 12:4-10, it is a different matter for us who have been privileged to live in this age of increased knowledge. For those who have been chosen by the Father to be saved, He has given this message and will guide them through the presence of the Holy Spirit. They will not only walk in the light, but also be a light to others. Moving on, we now face the Armageddon beast, which is the same beast that has recovered from its "deadly wound" mentioned in Revelation 13:3. This wound was inflicted during the wars of Napoleon when the church and state were separated, but it has now been healed and the spiritual power of Rome is being felt once again. The prophet Daniel predicted that this power would try to change God's immutable law, the Ten Commandments. Evidence of this can be seen in "The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine" by Rev. Peter Geiermann, which received the "apostolic blessing" of Pope Pius X in 1910. On page 50 of the second edition, it states that Saturday is the Sabbath day and asks why we observe Sunday instead. This is a clear indication of the predicted tampering with God's law. As we continue to study this book, we will gain a deeper understanding of these events and their significance in the end of times. Thank you for joining..

Scene 12 (20m 33s)

[Audio] The book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger discusses the end of times and the rise of knowledge, with a focus on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil for the wicked. In the book, a letter from John R. Ashley, Esq. to the Catholic Church about the change of the Sabbath was mentioned. In response, the Chancellor, Fr. Thomes, stated that the Catholic Church had indeed changed the Sabbath. This is a significant revelation as it goes against the Scriptures. This change was prophesied by Daniel centuries ago and is now coming to fruition. Further examination reveals that the Catholic Church admits to instituting this change, contradicting the Scriptures. The combined testimony of the Scriptures, history, and the Catholic Church confirms that it was the papacy who attempted to change the law of God. It is thought-provoking how Daniel accurately described this power centuries before its rise. This suggests divine inspiration. As we reach the end of chapter 7, we see the predicted events of the end of the 1,260 years allotted to the Papal Horn coming to pass. Verse 9 describes the second coming of Jesus and the final judgment. It was specifically mentioned earlier that during this time, the "Little" Horn Power would persecute the church, dominate the world, and change God's law. This is a testament to the divine inspiration and accuracy of the book of Daniel. The next slide will explore the events that followed the end of the 1,260-year period and its connection to our understanding of the end of times..

Scene 13 (22m 11s)

[Audio] The thirteenth slide in the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger focuses on the Little Horn and the scripture references and commentary on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. The chapter also discusses the increased turmoil for the wicked and the understanding for the wise. It is mentioned that "Judgment shall sit and they shall take away his dominion to consume and destroy it to the end," which refers to the Little Horn and the events surrounding it. This aligns with other prophecies, particularly those concerning this same power before the return of the Messiah in His kingdom. The next and final event mentioned is the kingdom of dominion and greatness given to the saints of the Most High. This kingdom is not located in heaven, but rather "under the whole heaven." Our beloved Messiah, the "Son of God," will reign with His mighty angels in great power and glory in this kingdom. He will deliver Israel, resurrect the righteous dead, and give this everlasting kingdom to the people of Israel and those adopted into the family of Abraham through Christ. As Galatians 3:26-29 states, "If you are Christ's then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promises." Those who are left alive at His coming will be changed to never dying creatures, as stated in I Thessalonians 4:16-17, I Corinthians 15:51-53, and Revelation 11:15. In chapter eight, we are introduced to events that were given to Daniel in 553 B.C. Upon reflecting on this chapter, we can see how history has responded to the prophecies with great accuracy. These events are crucial in understanding the end of times and the rise of knowledge, as well as the fulfillment of the kingdom of God on earth. Throughout the remaining chapters of this book, we will gain a deeper understanding of the events that are still to come and how they fit into God's plan for His people..

Scene 14 (24m 12s)

[Audio] Slide 14: After examining the details of the four kingdoms arising from the broken horn, our focus now shifts to the great horn that arises from the south and east, and towards the Holy Land. This horn, mentioned in verse 23, would grow exceedingly strong in these directions and have a significant impact, as seen in verses 8-14. As previously shown, this prophecy has been fulfilled with remarkable accuracy. It refers to Mohammed, the founder of the Moslem religion which has over 300 million followers today, including the nations surrounding Israel and Egypt. It is significant that the horn is specifically noted to grow towards the south, disproving claims that it represents Rome, as this would contradict the other horn and Rome did not begin its conquests towards the south. In contrast, Mohammed was born in Mecca in 570 and fled to Medina in 622, where his conquests began. He first conquered Mecca and the surrounding areas, then expanded eastward, ultimately returning to Medina. This is a clear fulfillment of the prophecy. In conclusion, the rise of Mohammed and the spread of the Moslem religion fulfill the prophecy of the great horn arising from the broken horn. This is yet another example of the accuracy and significance of these prophecies in our present time. We will continue to delve into more details and fulfillments in the rest of our presentation..

Scene 15 (25m 45s)

[Audio] We are currently on slide 15 out of 25 in our study of "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger. This chapter discusses the end of times and the rise of knowledge, with a focus on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil from the wicked. It mentions how evening and morning sacrifices were omitted before Judas Maccabee cleansed the sanctuary and re-established the sacrifices, which is a significant event in history that sets the foundation for future events. Moving on to verse 11, we see that "He magnified himself even to the Prince of the host" of heaven, shedding light on the Eastern division of Alexander's kingdom known as "Seleucus." From this division, an exceedingly great horn arose, which was to arise "in the latter times of the four divisions of Alexander's empire, and when the transgressors are come to the full." This leads us to the significant event in history where the Creator was said to have revealed himself through four holy men - Moses, David, Jesus Christ, and Mohammed - as mentioned in the Mohammedan Bible or "the Koran." This horn, or power, magnified himself above the Prince of Heaven, known as Yahshua or Christ. This was brought about in verse 23 when the transgressors had come to their full, which was fulfilled in 538. In the next chapter, the prophecy of the Seventy Weeks is discussed, explaining how the Jewish nation had drifted away in worldliness, idol worship, and sin, leading to their destruction at the hands of king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in three successive strokes. Destructive times for the Jewish nation were also predicted by holy prophets such as Ezekiel. Finally, in 2 Chronicles chapter 36, we read about how the house of God was burned down and the Jews were led away to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar, marking a devastating time for the Jewish nation..

Scene 16 (27m 42s)

[Audio] Today in class, we will be discussing slide number 16 out of 25 in our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger. This particular slide focuses on the seventy-week period described in Daniel chapter 9. This period contains important information about the end of times and the rise of knowledge. It is significant to note that the seventy weeks were determined upon the Jewish people and the Holy City of Jerusalem. This was to bring about six important conditions, as mentioned in the verse. When interpreting prophecies related to days, it is important to understand that each day represents a year in their proper application. This is confirmed in the book of Ezekiel, chapter 4, verses 5 and 6. In chapter 7, we can learn how the 1,260-day period applies to Rome and the work of the little horn power, also known as the papacy. This helps us understand the significance of the seventy-week period mentioned in Daniel chapter 9. To better understand the timeline, it is important to recognize that the seventy-week period, when translated into days, equals 490 years. After this 490-year period, reconciliation was to be made for iniquity and a means provided to forgive sins and anoint the Most Holy. The angel gave Daniel assurance that his prayers would be answered and a commandment would be given in the future to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. This gave Daniel hope and joy for the future of the city and its people. It was also revealed that from the issuing of this commandment until the coming of the Messiah, there would be 69 weeks. After these 69 weeks, the Messiah would be cut off for the sake of others. It is important to note verse 26, which reveals that after the Messiah is cut off, there will be a destruction of Jerusalem and a period of desolation. This helps us understand the significance of the time period mentioned in Daniel chapter 9. The prophecy would not make sense without a definite starting point. This is mentioned in verse 25 as "From the time the commandment goes forth to build Jerusalem" until the coming of the Messiah, the prince. This tells us that there was a specific commandment given under certain circumstances..

Scene 17 (30m 2s)

[Audio] Please reflect on the powerful words of the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger, which offers commentary and scripture references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. In Chapter 9, we see how God brought about a decree through King Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem and the house of God in the midst of turmoil and hatred towards the Jews. Through God's miraculous intervention and the Jews' obedience to His laws, they were able to gain favor among the people. This was not a coincidence, as it was prophesied by Gabriel to Daniel that these events would lead to the coming of the Messiah. The accuracy and fulfillment of God's plans are evident as we dig deeper into the details and dates of these events. The date for the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem in my Bible is 457 B.C., which aligns with historical records. Adding 33 A.D., the year of Jesus' crucifixion, gives us exactly 490 years as prophesied. This shows how every detail and event in the books of Esther and Daniel played a crucial role in God's ultimate plan for the salvation of His people. According to Gabriel's prophecy, after 490 years the Messiah would come to reconcile us with God and provide forgiveness for our sins. Let us continue to journey through these powerful books, gaining wisdom, knowledge, and a deeper connection with our Lord and Savior by understanding and reflecting on the events and prophecies within. Thank you for joining me on this journey..

Scene 18 (31m 35s)

[Audio] Slide 18 of our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger focuses on a significant turning point in the understanding of the end times and the rise of knowledge. In previous chapters, we learned about a period of three and a half years where the Jews rejected the message of the coming Messiah, leading to their downfall and Jerusalem being trampled by Gentiles. However, Luke 21:24 tells us that this time of Gentile domination will come to an end. During this time, the Jews turned against their own people and persecuted them, as seen in Acts 7:54-58 and 8:1-3. This was a clear turning away from the gospel. But as the end of the Gentile times approaches, we see a positive change in Israel. Romans 11:25 tells us that "blindness in part was to happen to Israel until the fulness of the Gentiles had come in." And now, we are seeing the Holy Spirit coming upon Israel, as prophesied in Ezekiel 36:24-27. Moving on to Chapter 10, we see Daniel mourning and afflicting his soul for three full weeks, a time of intense spiritual struggle. But then, an angel appeared - believed to be Gabriel, who gave Daniel the prophecy of the 70 weeks in the previous chapter. In verses 12 and 13, the angel explains that he was delayed by the prince of the kingdom of Persia for 21 days, but with the help of Michael the archangel, he was able to break through and deliver the message to Daniel. As we are reminded in chapter 2, it is God who changes the times and seasons, removes and sets up kings, and gives wisdom and understanding to those who seek it. It is through His guidance that we can make sense of the events in the end times. In conclusion, Chapter 10 highlights the power of prayer and spiritual warfare during difficult times. We must continue to seek wisdom and understanding from God as we navigate through these tumultuous times. Thank you for listening. Our discussion will continue in the next chapter..

Scene 19 (33m 47s)

[Audio] In this presentation, we will be discussing slide number 19 out of 25 from the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger. This slide focuses on the 11th chapter, which discusses the "Overthrow of Persia". The chapter contains pre-announcements of major global events that occurred over two thousand years ago and ones that would take place in the future. The angel in this chapter begins with the rise of the Medo-Persian kingdom and goes on to describe events that would unfold over the next two millennia. One significant event mentioned is the division of Alexander the Great's empire into four divisions, as described in verses 3 and 4. This was previously mentioned in the 7th and 8th chapters of the book. The main focus of this chapter is the conflict between the king of the North and the king of the South, representing the struggle between good and evil. Specific names of kings in Persia, including Cambyses, Smerdis, Darius Hystaspes, and Xerxes, are also mentioned, with a prediction of a devastating defeat for the latter. While some events in this chapter may not have historical evidence, the pre-announcements still hold significant value. The book of "Daniel and Revelation" provides valuable insight into the end of times and the rise of knowledge, offering wisdom to the wise and predicting turmoil for the wicked. Thank you..

Scene 20 (35m 13s)

[Audio] In this presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger, we will be discussing the rise of Rome and its impact on the holy covenant. Octavianus led the armies of Rome during this period and their supposed friendship was nothing more than words of hypocrites. After the renewal of war, Octavianus returned to Rome as the victorious leader with great spoils of war. Historian Humphry Prideaux notes in his book, "The Old and New Testament Connected in the History of the Jews," that at that time, vast riches were brought to Rome from Egypt and the country was brought under Roman control. Additionally, the land of Chittim is mentioned in Isaiah 23:1 and is located among the islands to the north in the Mediterranean Sea, near Greece. Furthermore, verse 30 mentions the ships of Chittim coming against Rome, leading to repeated wars and invasions after the death of Constantine. Rome also had indignation against the holy covenant, which the Creator made with Abraham and passed down through Isaac and Jacob. As the dominant power, Rome felt threatened by the promise of all the land from Egypt to the Euphrates to Abraham's descendants, the Israelites. This led to hatred towards the Jews who were the rightful heirs of the land. In addition, Rome supported those who forsook the holy covenant, such as the Mohammedans or Arabs, who did not recognize the covenant. This hostility towards the holy covenant resulted in the pollution of the sanctuary of strength and the taking away of the daily sacrifice, as mentioned in verse 31. These events ultimately led to the rise of knowledge and understanding for the wise, as mentioned in the title of this presentation. Along with the rise of Rome and its conflicts with the holy covenant, there was also increased turmoil from the wicked. As we continue to explore the prophetic significance of these events in the remaining slides, we will see how they tie into the end of times..

Scene 21 (37m 11s)

[Audio] In our study of the book of Daniel and Revelation, verse 36 mentions the King doing as he pleases, referring to the Roman power discussed earlier in verse 30. It is important to note that "he" does not always refer to the same king, but to the rulers of Rome throughout history. Moving on to verse 40, the first mention of the king of the north and south appears after a long period of time. At this point, Egypt is the king of the south and Syria, Thrace, Greece, and Turkey represent the king of the north. This prophecy could have been fulfilled in 1798 during the war against France, known as Rome, by these nations. During this time, the French revolution turned to the worship of the "god of reason," replacing the true Creator. The Temple of Notre Dame became the Temple of Reason with an idol of the Goddess of Reason. This period of atheism and terror ended with the rise of Napoleon in 1790. Verse 40 marks the beginning of the "time of the end," which started in 1798 when the 1,260-year period ended and the pope was taken prisoner by Berthier. Moving on to verse 43, the "gold, silver, and precious stones" symbolize the wealth desired by the king of the north and south, which could be fulfilled through wars and conflicts. In verse 45, "the glorious holy mountain" could refer to Jerusalem, a holy city for Jews and Christians. The Bible encourages prayer facing Jerusalem to reach the Jews who rejected Christ. Sadly, during this time, those who did not follow the Roman Catholic Church were persecuted and killed. In conclusion, the book of Daniel and Revelation offer valuable insights on the end of times and the rise of knowledge. The wise gain understanding, while the wicked face turmoil..

[Audio] We have reached slide number 22 of our presentation on "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger. This chapter, "General Resurrection Foretold," provides insight into the end of times and the rise of knowledge. It emphasizes the importance of understanding for the wise and the increased turmoil for the wicked. As stated in verse 1, the current time of trouble will only worsen until the end, serving as a warning for us to remain vigilant and strong in our faith. In verse 2, we are brought to the climax of the end of the age, the resurrection, and judgment. It is crucial for us to comprehend and prepare for this event. Moving on to verse 3, we learn about the class of people who will be saved and live forever. These are the ones who spread righteousness through the presence of the Holy Spirit. As followers of Christ, it is our responsibility to work towards bringing others closer to God and leading a righteous life. Verse 4 is a powerful prophecy that is currently being fulfilled. It speaks of the scattering of the power of the holy people, which includes the righteous in Israel and all over the world. The power of the holy people for service will be scattered or destroyed by the triune of sin - the Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet. These are identified in the book of Revelation as the enemies of God's people. It is also prophesied that the power of Israel as a nation will be overcome and all nations will gather around Jerusalem, as mentioned in Joel chapter 3, Zechariah chapter 14, and Revelation chapter 16. However, we should not fear as the Almighty will deliver His people, just as He did for the armies of Gideon. Verse 10 assures us that a remnant of people, known as "the Wise," will understand these prophecies, while the wicked will not. This serves as a reminder for us to stay on the right path and choose to be among the wise. If you are listening to this presentation, it is a sign that you are part of the wise who will understand. Your task now is to follow the guidance given in verse 3. It is worth mentioning that the writer's father was one of the wise who understood these prophecies..

Scene 23 (41m 25s)

[Audio] We are currently discussing the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A.N. Dugger, which provides a detailed commentary and scripture references on the end times and the rise of knowledge. It also focuses on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil from the wicked. We have reached slide number 23 out of 25, which discusses the daily sacrifice being taken away in Jerusalem by the Jewish worship. This sacrifice has been removed three times before it permanently ceased in the present time. The first time was by Antiochus, Epiphanes in 167-164 B.C., followed by Titus, the Roman General in 70 A.D., and finally by the Mohammedans who built their temple on the spot where the temples of Solomon once stood. According to the Jewish Encyclopaedia, this invasion by the Arabs was the Abomination that desolated the Holy Land. The Temple of Solomon, located on Mount Moriah, was the only place where the Jews could offer their sacrifices. When the Arabs took over, the sacrifices ceased. This event, while significant, is often overlooked by students of prophecy who believe the Abomination is yet to come. However, we must pay close attention to the language of the prophet, which states that it is an abomination that will stand in the Holy Place and make it desolate. This is exactly what the Mohammedans have done for 1,290 years until Jerusalem was taken from them in 1917. This fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, who said that the Lord would deliver Jerusalem "as birds flying." This came to pass when the English army, led by General Allenby, ordered one hundred airplanes to fly over from the Egyptian air base. The sudden fright of the Mohammedans and their chaotic retreat was a remarkable fulfillment of the prophet's words. It is important for us to understand and acknowledge this significant event in history, which serves as an example of how prophecy can be fulfilled in unexpected ways. With this, we conclude slide number 23..

Scene 24 (43m 37s)

[Audio] Near the end of our presentation, we will focus on the importance of understanding the book of Daniel, particularly its relevance to the end of times and the increase of knowledge. This book contains commentaries and references from scripture, with a specific emphasis on the wise and the wicked. In chapter ten, the angel Gabriel appears to Daniel and reveals what will happen to his people in the latter days. However, it is concerning that many Adventists and other commentators fail to mention the Mohammedan invasion of Jerusalem and the subsequent construction of a mosque on the site of the ancient temple. This event has a significant impact on Daniel's people, yet it is often overlooked. In verse four of chapter ten, we see that the book of Daniel was meant to be sealed and closed until the time of the end. As we near the end times, we can see this prophecy coming to fruition. The majority of this book was not translated from Aramaic to Hebrew until recently, and even now, it is mostly unknown among the Jewish population who do not read this language. Furthermore, the Gentile world has been led astray by false teachings from Babylon and Rome, causing them to ignore the truth in the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation. These books are not taught in Sunday-keeping churches and are not found in their literature, demonstrating that Daniel was truly sealed and closed until this time of the end. In verse seven, Daniel asks Gabriel how long the wonders will last, and the answer is given in the form of a time, times, and half a time, or three and a half years. When these years are complete, the power of the holy people will be scattered and all the events prophesied in the book of Daniel will come to pass. In conclusion, the book of Daniel is a crucial piece of literature that provides insight into the end of times and the increase of knowledge, offering guidance for the wise and a warning for the wicked. With its recent translation into Hebrew and distribution in Israel, we can see the fulfillment of this prophecy in our present time. It is our hope that this book will continue to be studied and understood as we approach the end times..

Scene 25 (45m 49s)

[Audio] Our presentation on the book "Daniel and Revelation" by A. N. Dugger has come to an end. Throughout this presentation, we have delved into the commentary and scripture references on the end of times and the rise of knowledge, with a particular emphasis on understanding for the wise and increased turmoil for the wicked. As we reach the final slide, let us pause to reflect on the words of the angel Gabriel, who prophesied that in the "Time of the End," knowledge would increase and many would travel to and fro. The wise will comprehend this prophecy, while the wicked will not. It is important to remember, dear reader, that you belong to one of two classes described by Gabriel - the wicked or the wise. As stated in verse 3, "Those who understand will turn many to righteousness, and will shine like stars forever." These words are reinforced by the Savior, who said, "After a long time, the Lord of those servants will come and settle accounts with them" (Matthew 25:19). Given the lateness of the hour, it is crucial for every man and woman who is counted among the wise to prioritize the work of the Master. Through self-denial and loving sacrifice, they will guide others towards righteousness and be found as profitable servants upon His imminent return. Thank you for joining me for this presentation. I hope it has provided a deeper understanding of the book "Daniel and Revelation" and its relevance for us today. Let us all strive to be counted among the wise and fulfill our purpose as servants of the Master..
