Why dairy farming is important to the farmers.. Sources of food to the farmers for example; milk, meat.
Sources of incomes to the farmers after selling produce.
Provide raw material for industries for example skin.
Provided manure which is used for Plants nutrients. Biogas production is enhanced through uses of manure..

Dairy farming practice should be followed in order to attain quantity quality products..

Proper feeding by giving required amount of food at correct time with all available nutrients. Good milking techniques through  cleaning of  teat,clean  milking  equipments .
Hygiene should be followed in zero grazing unit  to achieve quality milk production.
Control of external and internal parasites.

Friesian which has the following features ; colour  black and White, heavy feeders, average milk production is 7800-1000kg per lactation.
Ayrshire has the following features; color red and white, do better in pasture condition compared to other major breeds.
Guernsey has the following features; excelled grazers, adapt to wide range  climatic conditions, average milk production is 6650kg per lactation.
Jersey has the following characteristics; have a Wider range of color light gray or mouse color to very dark fawn or a shade that is almost black, average milk production is 6850kg per lactation, protruding eye.

Different level of production in dairy farming.. Friesian produce high milk compared with others of 40-60litres with lower butter fat content of 3.2%per day. Arysiere produce 35-40 litre with butter fat content of 4.2% per day.
Guernsey produce 30-35 litres with butter fat content of 4.8% per day.
Jersey producer low milk with 20-30 litres with butter fat content of 5.5% per day.
