Introduction. My personalised lid for a cup will be able to cover any standard-sized cup, a glass of water or juice, and so on. A patent application has been submitted for it. I constructed in such a way that it seems to be genuine, and it will have a clasp on the side to better seal it in order to prevent it from leaking. It contain a motion sensor, so that when the user brings the cup towards them, a built-in motor will open the lid, enabling the user to drink from the cup. Once the user has finished drinking, the lid will reseal itself to avoid spillage..
