[Audio] The network Model is a database model that is designed as a flexible approach to representing objects and their relationships. It is made up of 2 types ,Namely.

[Audio] The Peer-2-Peer Network Model. Network Models.

[Audio] And the Client Server Network Model.. Network Models.

[Audio] The Peer-2-Peer Network Model has no centralized Control ..

[Audio] Meaning the computers called nodes or hosts on the network, form a logical group
of computers and users that share resources. Each computer on a Peer-to-Peer
network controls its own administration , resources , and security.

[Audio] The examples of Operating System that might be installed on Peer-to-Peer Network Model are Windows, Linux and MacOS on a desktop and a Laptop.

[Audio] If all Computers on the Peer-to-Peer network are running Windows Operating System, Its resources can be shared in 3 ways ..

Vou can share files and printers wah other comput«s. You can also stream media to devices.
The homegroup is protected with a and you'll always be able to choose what you share.

[Audio] For Peer-to-Peer Network Model to be at optimum, the connected computer on the network needs to be at least 15 or less ..

[Audio] Because once the number of devices and computers connecting the network increases, there will be a performance degrade since each computer is being accessed by other users. When the performance degrades this could cause frustruation..

[Audio] Well when using Peer-to-Peer Network Model the are also advantages and disadvantages. Firstly I will explain the Advantages that comes with Peer-to-Peer Network Model ..

[Audio] The First advantage of using Peer-to-Peer network model is that it is less expensive so the companies that use this networking model can invest the most money in other aspects of business and grow faster ..

[Audio] The second advantage is that this Network Model is very reliable so this is great advantage because since there is no centralized control the connected computer can function independently with each other and even if one part of the network fails, it will not disrupt other computers but only the affected user will not be able to access files..

[Audio] But everything has both advantages and disadvantages, the Peer-to-Peer Networking model has its fair share of advantages and disadvantages. The first disadvantage of the Peer-to-Peer model is the Performance when the number of devices on the network increase the performance will degrade so it's a huge disadvantage since the Peer-to-Peer Network Model does not function well with growing networks..

DISADVANTAGES OF PEER-2-PEER NETWORK MODEL

[Audio] The second disadvantage is Malware infections, since the computers on the network are independent to each other, viruses and cyber attacks are likely to take happen there because if one computer can get infected with a virus it could easily and quickly spread on other connected devices even if they are protected through an antivirus or a firewall ..

[Audio] Moving on to the second network model which is Client-server network model, which is sometimes called client-server architecture or client-server topology..

logical group is called a Windows domain.
