Scene 1 (0s)

[Audio] Good Day Dr I hope you are having a good day ,This is Group 6 and we are hereby presenting the Network Models.

Scene 2 (10s)

[Audio] The network Model is a database model that is designed as a flexible approach to representing objects and their relationships. It is made up of 2 types ,Namely.

Scene 3 (22s)

[Audio] The Peer-2-Peer Network Model. Network Models.

Scene 4 (32s)

[Audio] And the Client Server Network Model.. Network Models.

Scene 5 (43s)

[Audio] The Peer-2-Peer Network Model has no centralized Control ..

Scene 6 (1m 0s)

[Audio] Meaning the computers called nodes or hosts on the network, form a logical group of computers and users that share resources. Each computer on a Peer-to-Peer network controls its own administration , resources , and security.

Scene 7 (1m 20s)

[Audio] The examples of Operating System that might be installed on Peer-to-Peer Network Model are Windows, Linux and MacOS on a desktop and a Laptop.

Scene 8 (1m 30s)

[Audio] And Android, iOS, etc. on Mobile Devices ..

Scene 9 (1m 37s)

[Audio] If all Computers on the Peer-to-Peer network are running Windows Operating System, Its resources can be shared in 3 ways ..

Scene 10 (1m 51s)

[Audio] Firstly they can be shared using Windows Folder and File Sharing..

Scene 11 (2m 1s)

[Audio] Secondly they can be shared using Workgroup ..

Scene 12 (2m 10s)

[Audio] And lastly they can be shared using Homegroup ..

Scene 13 (2m 25s)

[Audio] For Peer-to-Peer Network Model to be at optimum, the connected computer on the network needs to be at least 15 or less ..

Scene 14 (2m 34s)

[Audio] Because once the number of devices and computers connecting the network increases, there will be a performance degrade since each computer is being accessed by other users. When the performance degrades this could cause frustruation..

Scene 15 (2m 50s)

[Audio] Well when using Peer-to-Peer Network Model the are also advantages and disadvantages. Firstly I will explain the Advantages that comes with Peer-to-Peer Network Model ..

Scene 16 (3m 3s)

[Audio] The First advantage of using Peer-to-Peer network model is that it is less expensive so the companies that use this networking model can invest the most money in other aspects of business and grow faster ..

Scene 17 (3m 15s)

[Audio] The second advantage is that this Network Model is very reliable so this is great advantage because since there is no centralized control the connected computer can function independently with each other and even if one part of the network fails, it will not disrupt other computers but only the affected user will not be able to access files..

Scene 18 (3m 34s)

[Audio] But everything has both advantages and disadvantages, the Peer-to-Peer Networking model has its fair share of advantages and disadvantages. The first disadvantage of the Peer-to-Peer model is the Performance when the number of devices on the network increase the performance will degrade so it's a huge disadvantage since the Peer-to-Peer Network Model does not function well with growing networks..

Scene 19 (3m 58s)

[Audio] The second disadvantage is Malware infections, since the computers on the network are independent to each other, viruses and cyber attacks are likely to take happen there because if one computer can get infected with a virus it could easily and quickly spread on other connected devices even if they are protected through an antivirus or a firewall ..

Scene 20 (4m 22s)

[Audio] Moving on to the second network model which is Client-server network model, which is sometimes called client-server architecture or client-server topology..

Scene 21 (4m 32s)

[Audio] Its resources are managed by the Network Operating System.

Scene 22 (4m 42s)

[Audio] The example of the Network Operating System includes Windows Server 2016, and when Windows Server controls network access to a group of computers, this logical group is called a Windows domain.

Scene 23 (4m 57s)

[Audio] Ubuntu Server.. Client-server Network Model.

Scene 24 (5m 5s)

[Audio] And lastly, the Red Hat.. Client-server Network Model.

Scene 25 (5m 14s)

[Audio] The Client-Server has centralized Control and the centralized directory database that contains user account information and security for the entire group of computers is called Active Directory. Clients request information or data and Servers provide data or information. The server can access information on the database.

Scene 26 (5m 36s)

[Audio] Clients can be web browsers, devices , and Programming Languages..

Scene 27 (5m 53s)

[Audio] The Client requests information through HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol)..

Scene 28 (6m 0s)

[Audio] Well when using Client-Server Network Model the are also advantages and disadvantages. Firstly I will explain the Advantages that comes with Client-Server Network Model ..

Scene 29 (6m 14s)

[Audio] The First advantage of a Client-Server Network Model is that there is an easy management of data since everything is stored on the same server and the is easy accessibility of data since multiple information and data is stored on the same server..

Scene 30 (6m 28s)

Client-server Network Model. ADVANTAGES OF CLIENT-SERVER NETWORK MODEL.
