In 1995, Sai Mirra Innopharm achieved TGA approval, solidifying its compliance with global quality standards and establishing itself as a leader in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2000, Dr. Reddy's acquired the plant and rebranded it, leading to an increase in production capacity and expertise. During this period, 25% of Dr. Reddy's products were produced at the Sai Mirra Innopharm facility, contributing to its growth and success. Dr. Samy Shanmugam, a US resident with a M.Pharm degree and three decades of industry experience, has worked in top companies like Ivax, Kali Labs, Par Pharmaceuticals, Novel Labs, and Novitium Pharma in the USA. He has an impressive track record of developing and commercializing over 200 specialty dosage forms and is a registered pharmacist in the state of New York. Both managing directors are highly respected in the industry and are actively involved in various organizations. Let's take a closer look at the advanced analytical instruments found in this lab, starting with 8 High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems integrated with Waters-Empower 2 software for precise analysis. This software, also known as FR2, maintains accuracy and consistency in our results. Other important instruments include the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometer and UV spectrophotometer from Shimadzu, used to identify and analyze compounds, and the Electrolab Dissolution Apparatus, which tests the rate of product dissolution. Additionally, the Gas Chromatography (GC) machine from Perkin Elmer is used to separate and analyze compounds in raw materials and finished products. Our QC lab also has a fully-functional Microbiology Lab, where we conduct comprehensive testing for water quality, environmental monitoring, and microbial limit testing (MLT).
