Scene 1 (0s)

Use your favorite opening here and introduce yourself Thank you for the opportunity to be here today… What if I told you I could give you the agility and connectivity to meet growing demands and spend more time innovating (rather than iterating) to better your business and shape a thriving future..

Scene 2 (17s)

[Audio] As we kick off, …… I want to share with you our views on the current challenges impacting our industry, and explore an increased urgency for accelerating digital transformation, and present a clear path for more resilient manufacturing. (*pause) Some of you still see the future as challenging with uncertainty and doubt! The cost for goods and services continues to rise with profits still taking a dive! Our supply chains remain fragmented, and we're facing a skills shortage, the likes of which we've never seen! By 2030 in North America 2.1 million manufacturing jobs will go vacant. In China, 3.2 million jobs are in a manufacturing deficit. And across Europe, there are half a million jobs currently unfilled!.

Scene 3 (1m 3s)

[Audio] These are some of the real challenges that are disrupting what we do, and how we do it! But despite the challenges, we must reimagine What’S possible and take the opportunity to do things better. For manufacturers, if you can find a way to control costs, and maintain margins, and if you can fix your supply chain ahead of your competition. And, find a way to upskill people, and attract young talent, then, you stand a chance of improving your market share! (*pause) So, to help you reimagine What’S possible there are some amazing opportunities that exist. IFYou choose to act NOW …...........

Scene 4 (1m 43s)

[Audio] I'm talking about The opportunity to lead your industry with smart products, because if you don't, your competitors will, and your products become a commodity. The opportunity to augment more of your processes with Digital, because if you don't your productivity will suffer. The opportunity to re design your supply chains for resilience, agility, and sustainability, because if you don't, no matter how good your products are, they may never reach your customers in time..

Scene 5 (2m 11s)

[Audio] When you hear ‘SMART PRODUCTS’ you think of an iPhone, Fitbit or a Nest Thermostat that's true for consumer products. But now, the shift is moving into EV,so with every new car sold it will have full software control. And we’re starting to see the trend expand onto the shop floor with smart machine controllers. I expect to see that shift continue across the rest of manufacturing. (*pause) Don't think if you're not in consumer products that this shift won't apply to you, (I-T ) ABSOLUTELY will! So, what does that mean for you? (*pause) It’s through multi disciplinary design, creating a common data experience, and using a tool that can represent electronics as well as mechanical design, that will help you respond to change faster, delivering better, innovative products and services..

Scene 6 (3m 10s)

[Audio] It's not just products that are digitizing, it’s also the processes! When you go through manufacturing, subtracting, machining, probing, or even 3D-printing, and you can analyse the speed, feed, tool use, and more, but those things aren't usually exclusive! You don't just make a product with one of those things, so it's a bit of a problem when you have six different software tools to find the right manufacturing process. What you need is a way to connect your entire manufacturing operation..

Scene 7 (3m 43s)

[Audio] You could have a (M-E-S--) manufacturing execution system that takes care of everything in your building. But you’re quite unlikely to do complete turnkey manufacturing like on the left, in fact, even the OEM’s don’t do that! It’s more likely you’re going to have to connect with an extended supply chain, and you can’t do that with an on premise solution, you need to be in the Cloud. You’ll notice between the image on the Left and the Right is that the one on the Right has virtually no people in an automated factory. Here people are freed up to do higher value work that machines can’t do..

Scene 8 (4m 18s)

[Audio] Despite everything, the manufacturing sector still works in a very traditional way. Virtually every manufacturing company we talk to tells us that their business is already stretched to the breaking point, managing broken processes, multiple data formats, manual systems and a mix of digital and analogue information. In this example tools like Siemens NX, Dassaults Solidworks, Altium and MasterCAM operate in isolation and data is stored on local islands and passed around via email. (*pause) So, how do we help them change?.

Scene 9 (4m 56s)

TIF 40 Sec. [Audio] That’s where digital transformation comes in…. We see it as nothing more complex than looking at what you do, and how you do it, and applying technology, and best practices to those parts of your business, in such a way, that your value proposition to your people, profits and the planet are transformed. (*pause) If you want to design and manufacture better products in less time. If you want to create more innovative, and sustainable products, that are traceable through it's lifecycle, Digital Transformation is the answer. (*pause) Digital Transformation is about changing the way your company thinks and operates. It’s about empowering people to use digital tools to improve in new ways, helping achieve your business goals and deliver real outcomes, faster..

Scene 10 (5m 49s)

Scene 23 (14m 10s)

[Audio] The first principle is that Fusion is fast It's cloud based nature means that you to deploy it faster and more of your people can access it from anywhere in the world leading you to a faster return This in turn allows you to scale your business faster because you can develop better products, sell more of them and increase your profitability.

Scene 24 (14m 33s)

[Audio] The second principle is that it’s flexible The past 24months have shown us how important it is for businesses to be agile Fusion can co exist with your existing systems so there’s no need to replace, and through our subscription model, we have enabled smaller customers to access very powerful digital tools at an affordable cost. With the barriers removed there is now almost no excuse for you to adapt to the demands of your business with digital. Fusion can be customized to meet your specific requirements. This enables greater agility and flexibility, which leads to GREATER resilience, INCREASED EFFICIENCY, whilst developing, maintaining and growing the right talent inside your business..

Scene 25 (15m 16s)

[Audio] And the final principle with Fusion is limitless, meaning it enables endless connections between The multiple disciplines in your business The multiple industries that you work with The wider eco system that you rely on But it’s not a big bang approach, you can take a modular approach to your deployment by starting anywhere that’s important to you Developing domain expertise where it makes sense either directly or through partnerships Building on top of it and extending that capability across your eco system.

Scene 27 (15m 53s)

[Audio] So we’ve defined what we mean by a manufacturing department, and the challenges they face. Now we need to talk about Fusion 360. So why Fusion 360?.

Scene 28 (16m 6s)

[Audio] The Pace of Change, Competitive threats and supply chain volatility present challenges now, more than ever before..

Scene 29 (16m 15s)

[Audio] BUT… there are growth opportunities all around us – The opportunity to address emerging trends like smart products to drive more efficiency and reduce costs – and to ensure flexibility in our supply chain.

Scene 30 (16m 30s)

[Audio] But we have a problem. The product development process today looks like this … A full 30% of an engineer’s time is wasted on tedious tasks… like chasing down the right version of a file. It’s messy and it’s complicated. It’s slow and painful. A-N-D it’s limiting your ability to make the changes you need to make in order to survive.….

Scene 31 (16m 56s)

[Audio] Well, in its simplest definition, Fusion 360, is a cloud based design, engineering, electronics and manufacturing platform, which combines industrial design, mechanical and electrical engineering, and machine tool programming into one software solution..

Scene 32 (17m 17s)

[Audio] We need a new way * Look around the room yes, we have all been here..

Scene 33 (17m 23s)

[Audio] Imagine You have a single designer or engineer in an (R&D) department or Small Business. Engineers like this have to wear multiple hats. In the past that’s meant multiple products..

Scene 34 (17m 36s)

[Audio] Fusion 360 flexes to your needs Fusion 360’s flexible and intuitive platform can be configured to your team’s size, use case, and workflow… so you get access to the enterprise grade features and services you need and only pay for what you use.
