SOLUTIONS TO FLOODING.

Scene 6 (1m 25s)

BENITEZ STREET. Drainage System :. STP. RAIN WATER COLLECTION TANK.

Scene 7 (1m 42s)

Will be designed to capture surface runoff to prevent reaching nearby villages. No discharge would be made to the Aranan Creek in case tank reached full capacity. Pumps would be installed and used if necessary and would utilize existing drainage tapping point along EDSA. Collected rainwater will be used for other purpose inside the project. It may also benefit existing communities since current uncontrolled surface run-off will not anymore contribute to the flooding but instead be utilized or discharge in a controlled manner. Thus, contributing in mitigating the effects of flooding. Estimated Min. Volume of Rainwater Collection Tank = 302 cu. m.

Scene 8 (2m 11s)

Water supply Total No. of Units = 5,886 units Water Supply requirement Est. for construction = 20 cu. m per day Est. for operation = (No. of Units) x (No. of capita per unit) x (Consumption per capita per day) Assume: 4 capita per unit : 60 L per capita per day : 100 cu. m for Office Est. for operation = 1,500 cu. m per day The water source requirement for the project would be supplied and discussed with Maynilad Water Services. Existing subdivision in the vicinity will not be affected because proper design and coordination with Maynilad will be done..

Scene 9 (2m 40s)

Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Area of STP (underground) = 1,100 sqm Overflow to be connected to the main sewer line along EDSA. Est. Domestic Wastewater = 80% of (Water Requirement) Estimated Domestic Wastewater = 1,200 cu. m.

Scene 10 (2m 54s)

SOLUTIONS TO TRAFFIC.

Scene 11 (3m 0s)

SOLUTIONS TO TRAFFIC. DURING CONSTRUCTION The access to the project site would be situated along EDSA in coordination with the local government and concerned agencies. Strictly no street parking along T. Benitez Street All traffic system would be coordinated with the LGU and be based on the recommendation of the Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) Assigning a dedicated personnel to direct traffic and the flow especially when vehicles are coming and moving out of the project site..

Scene 12 (3m 42s)

SOLUTIONS TO POLLUTION.

Scene 13 (3m 48s)

DUE TO AIR :. DURING CONSTRUCTION Perimeter closure of the area Protection and maintaining existing trees in the area Usage of existing paint technology that can contribute in pollution control. Regular Preventive Maintenance to all equipment and vehicles Sprinkling of water using water tanker daily especially during dry season. Cover all trucks using tarpaulin during hauling period.

Scene 14 (4m 13s)

DURING CONSTRUCTION Provision for buffer zone and perimeter fence. Regular Preventive Maintenance to all equipment and vehicles STRICTLY observe construction working hours at 7:00am to 7:00pm Construction Equipment should be placed (at least 50 meter) away from the residential area and will see to it that the noise level measurement within the neighboring villages is at standard 65 dBA..

Scene 15 (4m 33s)

SOLUTIONS TO SECURITY.

Scene 16 (4m 39s)

DURING OPERATION Regular maintenance of the facilities Readily available trained emergency personnel and first aid kits. Implement environmental awareness program. Observance and strict compliance for the minimum Health protocol such as wearing of mask. Installation of CCTV strategically placed in and around the property..
