CHIEF JUSTICE RELIEF FUND SCHEME FOR THE DISTRICT JUDICIARY EMPLOYEES.

[Audio] We are delighted to announce that the Hon'ble The Chief Justice of High Court, Madras has decided to introduce a scheme for the welfare of District Judiciary Employees..

[Audio] The scheme will be called as "The Chief Justice Relief Fund for the District Judiciary Employees"..

[Audio] The said scheme is exclusively introduced for the benefit of more than 21,000 employees of District Judiciary across the state of Tamil Nadu on their retirement..

[Audio] All regular staff of all the categories of District Judiciary shall be the members in this scheme.

[Audio] The scheme shall come into effect from 01.08.2024..

[Audio] Initially a sum of Rs.100/- will be the subscription amount for the period from 01.08.2024 to 31.07.2030 and thereafter Rs.200/- from 01.08.2030 onwards..

[Audio] An amount of Rs.50,000/- will be the relief Fund, which will be disbursed from 01.08.2027 to 31.12.2032, thereafter Rs.75,000/- from 01.01.2033 to 31.12.2035 and Rs.1,00,000/- from 01.01.2036 onwards..

[Audio] In case of untimely death of employees, an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- will be disbursed to legal heirs of deceased employee, from 01.08.2027 to 31.12.2032, thereafter Rs.1,50,000/- from 01.01.2033 to 31.12.2035 and Rs.2,00,000/- from 01.01.2036 onwards.
