GOAL: To ensure Zero Incidents during Transporting, Storing, Handling, Usage & disposal of chemicals in TKM & Reduce risk of incident due to Chemicals. 1.ಗುರಿ: ಟಿಕೆಎಂನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ಸಾಗಣೆ, ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ, ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಬಳಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಲೇವಾರಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂನ್ಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಘಟನೆಯ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಲು. OBJECTIVES: To create a system to identify all chemicals entering into TKM from any source (Such as Regular GPS purchase, Direct PR PO process, Chemicals part of job work or AMC work). Ensure chemicals are analyzed for the hazards and necessary risk reduction measures are taken up before usage. Ensure chemicals are identified by standard labeling and sufficient information given to the users using (M)SDS. Users are educated enough about the hazards & protective measures required for the chemicals. 2. ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು: ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೂಲದಿಂದ TKM ಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಲು (ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಜಿಪಿಎಸ್ ಖರೀದಿ, ನೇರ ಪಿಆರ್ ಪಿಒ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ, ಕೆಲಸದ ಕೆಲಸದ ಭಾಗವಾದ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಎಎಂಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ). ಅಪಾಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಅಪಾಯ ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಪ್ರಮಾಣಿತ ಲೇಬಲಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು (M) SDS ಬಳಸಿ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಅಪಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ..

LEGAL REGULATIONS Improper Use of Chemicals No chemicals or solvents or empty containers containing chemicals or solvents shall be permitted to be used by workers for any purposes other than in the processes for which they are supplied. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಬಳಕೆ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ದ್ರಾವಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ದ್ರಾವಕಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಖಾಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸಬೇಕು. Handling and Storage of Chemicals The containers for handling and storage of chemicals shall be of adequate strength taking into consideration the hazardous nature of the contents. They shall also be provided with adequate labelling and colour coding arrangements to enable identification of the containers and their contents indicating the hazards and safe handling methods and shall conform to the respective ISI standards. The instructions given on the label shall be strictly adhered to. Damaged containers shall be handled only under the supervision of a knowledgeable and responsible person and spillage shall be rendered innocuous in a safe manner using appropriate means. The arrangements for the storage of chemicals including charging of chemicals in reaction vessels and containers shall be such as to prevent any risk of fire or explosion or formation of toxic concentration of substances above the limits specified in Rule 131-A. Without prejudice to the generality of the requirements in sub-para (2) above, the arrangements shall have suitable ventilation facilities and shall enable the maintenance of safe levels in vessels and containers. Such arrangements shall also take into consideration, the type of flooring and the capacity of flooring and the compatibility requirements of substances with other chemicals stored nearby..

(4) (a) Storage of chemicals and intermediate products, which are highly unstable or reactive or explosive shall be limited to the quantities required for two months use. Whenever the quantities laid down in the above clause (a) are to be exceeded, Permission of the Chief Inspector shall be obtained. Notwithstanding anything contained in clause (a) and (b) above, the Chief Inspector of Factories may direct any factory carrying out processes covered in Appendix 'A' to further limit to storage of hazardous substances to quantities less than two months on considerations of safety. Stand-by arrangements equal to the biggest container shall always be available to transfer the toxic substances quickly into the stand-by storage facility if any defect develops in any of the containers resulting in the release of toxic substances. Any storage facility constructed using non-metallic material such as Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP), all glass vessels etc., shall have adequate strength to withstand the stress, if any, exerted by the contents and shall be properly anchored, working platforms, access ladders, pipelines, etc., used in such storage facility shall not have any support on the structure of the storage facility and shall be independently supported..

(4) (a) Storage of chemicals and intermediate products, which are highly unstable or reactive or explosive shall be limited to the quantities required for two months use. Whenever the quantities laid down in the above clause (a) are to be exceeded, Permission of the Chief Inspector shall be obtained.
 Notwithstanding anything contained in clause (a) and (b) above, the Chief Inspector of Factories may direct any factory carrying out processes covered in Appendix 'A' to further limit to storage of hazardous substances to quantities less than two months on considerations of safety.
 Stand-by arrangements equal to the biggest container shall always be available to transfer the toxic substances quickly into the stand-by storage facility if any defect develops in any of the containers resulting in the release of toxic substances. Any storage facility constructed using non-metallic material such as Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP), all glass vessels etc., shall have adequate strength to withstand the stress, if any, exerted by the contents and shall be properly anchored, working platforms, access ladders, pipelines, etc., used in such storage facility shall not  have  any  support  on  the  structure  of  the  storage  facility  and  shall  be independently supported.

ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ 1. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಪಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಲೇಬಲಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲರ್ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಆಯಾ ಐಎಸ್ ಐ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹಾನಿಗೊಳಗಾದ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರುಪದ್ರವಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. 2. ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಾಳಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ನಿಯಮ 131-ಎ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮಿತಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಫೋಟದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ಸಾಂದ್ರತೆಯ ರಚನೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಬೇಕು. 3. ಮೇಲಿನ ಉಪ-ಪ್ಯಾರಾ (2) ರಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ವಾತಾಯನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಅಂತಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಇರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಫ್ಲೋರಿಂಗ್ ನ ವಿಧ ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಲೋರಿಂಗ್ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾದ ಇತರ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ..

ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆ
 1. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಪಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಲೇಬಲಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲರ್ ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಆಯಾ ಐಎಸ್ ಐ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹಾನಿಗೊಳಗಾದ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರುಪದ್ರವಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
 2. ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಾಳಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ನಿಯಮ 131-ಎ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ ಮಿತಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಫೋಟದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ಸಾಂದ್ರತೆಯ ರಚನೆಯನ್ನು ತಡೆಗಟ್ಟಬೇಕು.
 3. ಮೇಲಿನ ಉಪ-ಪ್ಯಾರಾ (2) ರಲ್ಲಿನ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪೂರ್ವಾಗ್ರಹವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ವಾತಾಯನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಅಂತಹ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಇರತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಫ್ಲೋರಿಂಗ್ ನ ವಿಧ ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಲೋರಿಂಗ್ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾದ ಇತರ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

4.(ಎ) ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಫೋಟಕವಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಶೇಖರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಬಳಕೆ. (b)ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಲಮು (ಎ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಬೇಕಾದಾಗ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಇನ್ಸ್ ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. (c)ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಲಮು (ಎ) ಮತ್ತು (ಬಿ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಅನುಬಂಧ 'ಎ'ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಿತಿಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಬಹುದು. 5. ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾಂಡ್-ಬೈ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ದೋಷವು ಉಂಟಾದರೆ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾಂಡ್-ಬೈ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಿ, ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. 6. ಫೈಬರ್ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ ನಂತಹ ಲೋಹೇತರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಬಲವರ್ಧಿತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ (ಎಫ್ ಆರ್ ಪಿ), ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಾಜಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ತಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಲಂಗರು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು, ಅಂತಹ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುವ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಗಳು, ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಏಣಿಗಳು, ಪೈಪ್ ಲೈನ್ ಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದ ರಚನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೆ..

4.(ಎ) ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಸ್ಥಿರ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಫೋಟಕವಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಂತರ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ಶೇಖರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಬಳಕೆ.
 (b)ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಲಮು (ಎ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಬೇಕಾದಾಗ, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಇನ್ಸ್ ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನ ಅನುಮತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.
 (c)ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಲಮು (ಎ) ಮತ್ತು (ಬಿ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಅನುಬಂಧ 'ಎ'ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಎರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಮಿತಿಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಬಹುದು.
 5. ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಂಟೇನರ್ ಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾಂಡ್-ಬೈ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ದೋಷವು ಉಂಟಾದರೆ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾಂಡ್-ಬೈ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಿ, ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿಷಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.
 6. ಫೈಬರ್ ಗ್ಲಾಸ್ ನಂತಹ ಲೋಹೇತರ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಬಲವರ್ಧಿತ ಪ್ಲಾಸ್ಟಿಕ್ (ಎಫ್ ಆರ್ ಪಿ), ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಾಜಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ತಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಲಂಗರು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು, ಅಂತಹ ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುವ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಗಳು, ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಏಣಿಗಳು, ಪೈಪ್ ಲೈನ್ ಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ಶೇಖರಣಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದ ರಚನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೆ.

Protected Storage Corrosive substances shall not be stored in the same room with other chemicals such as turpentine, carbides, metallic powders and combustible materials, the accidental mixing with which may cause a reaction which is either violent or gives rise to toxic fumes and gases. Pumping or filling overhead tanks, receptacles, vats, or other containers for storing corrosive substances shall be so arranged that there is no possibility of any corrosive substance overflowing and causing injury to any person. Every container having a capacity of twenty liters or more and every pipeline, valve and fitting used for storing or carrying corrosive substances shall be thoroughly examined every year for finding out any defects and defects so found out shall be removed forthwith. Protected Storage Corrosive substances shall not be stored in the same room with other chemicals such  as  turpentine,  carbides,  metallic  powders  and  combustible  materials,  the accidental mixing with which may cause a reaction which is either violent or gives rise to toxic fumes and gases. Pumping or filling overhead tanks, receptacles, vats, or other containers for storing corrosive substances shall be so arranged that there is no possibility of any corrosive substance overflowing and causing injury to any person. Every container having a capacity of twenty liters or more and every pipeline, valve and fitting used for storing or carrying corrosive substances shall be thoroughly examined every year for finding out any defects and defects so found out shall be removed forthwith. Only chemicals authorized through Chemical approval process from Plant  Safety  Management  & Manufacturing  environment  departments  shall  be brought inside TKM. ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಪರಿಸರ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳಿಂದ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಪಡೆದ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಟಿಕೆಎಂ ಒಳಗೆ ತರಬೇಕು.

User shall study MSDS & implement all recommended Safety measures ಬಳಕೆದಾರರು MSDS ಅನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡಲಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು

User shall sustain all the Safety Measures as long as such chemical is in usage inside TKM. Also, User shall assess the change points and carryout suitable changes for the chemical. TKM ಒಳಗೆ ಅಂತಹ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕವು ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಗೂ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಬಳಕೆದಾರರು ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಬಿಂದುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

Approval given by Plant Safety Management department is exclusive for the SPECIFIC CHEMICAL and SPECIFIC SHOP (Not interchangeable). ಪ್ಲಾಂಟ್ ಸೇಫ್ಟಿ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜ್ ಮೆಂಟ್ ಡಿಪಾರ್ಟ್ ಮೆಂಟ್ ನಿಂದ ನೀಡಲಾದ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಶಾಪ್ ಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿದೆ (ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ).

Taking approval before, contractor bring in the chemical is responsibility of TKM user department who engage with the contractor. ಮೊದಲು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ಪಡೆದು, ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರು ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕವನ್ನು ತರುವುದು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಟಿಕೆಎಂ ಬಳಕೆದಾರರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

Know and understand the chemicals you use, their health hazards, their labels and how to properly control them when an accident occurs. ನೀವು ಬಳಸುವ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು, ಅವುಗಳ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಪಾಯಗಳು, ಅವುಗಳ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸುವುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

Every  chemical  in  the  workplace  should  be labelled clearly and correctly and be disposed of in the correct manner. Inclusive of any and all chemicals, solutions, and waste products. ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕವನ್ನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಲೇಬಲ್ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು, ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

Always wear the correct Personal protective equipment (PPE) referred by the chemical manufacturer. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕ ತಯಾರಕರು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ ಸರಿಯಾದ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಸಾಧನವನ್ನು (ಪಿಪಿಇ) ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಧರಿಸಿ.

Where there are volatiles or hazardous chemicals in a workplace, proper control and ventilation must be in place. If there is no control measure, then work must cease, and a report made to the proper safety personnel. ಕೆಲಸದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಷ್ಪಶೀಲ ಅಥವಾ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ, ಸರಿಯಾದ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ವಾತಾಯನವು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದೇ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಕ್ರಮವಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು..

Where  there  are  volatiles  or  hazardous chemicals in a workplace, proper control and ventilation  must  be  in  place. Store chemicals in safety cabinets in their designated areas  and  remove  only  the  amount  needed  for  the current work process. ರಾಸಾಯನಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೊತ್ತುಪಡಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ಯಾಬಿನೆಟ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ.

Do not work with hazardous substances alone and ensure  that  everyone  present  is  able  to  act  with competence if an accident occurs. ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ವಸ್ತುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದರೆ ಹಾಜರಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

Respiratory Protection: Respirator or face mask with the appropriate filter or cartridge for protection against chemical fumes, gases, or dust. Foot Protection: Closed-toe chemical-resistant shoes or boots to prevent chemical spills from contacting your feet. Head Protection: Hard hat may be necessary if there is a risk of falling objects or overhead hazards. Skin Protection: Chemical-resistant sleeves or arm covers when working with hazardous chemicals that could contact your arms.

Review Safety Data Sheets M(SDS): Consult the SDS of the chemical to 	determine  its   hazardous   properties and specific disposal 	recommendations. SDS will provide information on the appropriate 	disposal methods and any legal requirements.
