We will explore the different geographical features total land areas and political boundaries of each region – as well as their respective denr offices and officers. Let's get started!.

[Audio] Region 11 or Davao Region is located in the southeastern part of Mindanao and is the largest region in the island. It comprises of five provinces a highly urbanized city six independent component cities 116 municipalities and 4397 barangays with a total land area of 24155 square kilometers or 11.2 percent of the total land area of Mindanao. This region is home to a population of 4349496 people as of 2016. It is also endowed with three major river systems namely Davao River Tagum-Libuganon River and Talomo River. It houses 36850 hectares of seasonally inundated wetlands. In addition the region is rich in diverse flora and fauna and has abundant natural resources such as Davao Gulf Mt. Apo and several bodies of water. The denr's offices in the Davao Region are located in the provinces of Davao del Sur Davao Oriental Compostela Valley Davao del Norte and Davao Occidental..
[Audio] The land area of Cagayan Valley and Davao Region is 1969176 hectares divided amongst five provinces ten congressional districts six cities forty-three municipalities and 1162 barangays. ATTY. [Audio] penr Office Davao de Oro is devoted to protecting the province's abundant natural and environmental resources. It covers the Municipalities of Laak Monkayo Montevista Compostela New Bataan Maragusan Nabunturan Mawab Maco and Mabini. OIC – penr Officer Rita Fe G Gunn Ph.D. is the head of the office. Supporting local governments in their sustainability efforts penr Office provides technical help on environmental topics and resource management and makes sure that environmental laws and regulations are followed. It is a crucial part of the province's commitment to sustainable development..
[Audio] CENR Office Poblacion in Monkayo Davao de Oro is led by Gretel B Basoc CENR Officer and Elma A Cortez Assistant-CENR Officer encompassing the municipalities of Monkayo Montevista Compostela and New Bataan..
[Audio] The slide focuses on 39 permanent personnel located in the Cagayan Valley and Davao Region. Of those 37 are male and are based in Monkayo Montevista Compostela and New Bataan. These personnel are essential to the success of denr offices in the mentioned regions and are responsible for meeting all their manpower needs..
[Audio] Cagayan Valley and Davao Region together cover a land area of 218939.70 hectares. In the Cagayan Valley region the provinces of Monkayo Compostela and New Bataan are inhabited by a substantial number of areas which are protected and managed by the denr offices of the region..
[Audio] The Cagayan Valley region in Luzon has a total forest land area of 147836.61 hectares which makes up 5.9% of the region's total land area. Similarly the Davao Region in Mindanao has a total forest land area of 10722.83 hectares which makes up 1.6% of the region's total land area. Both of these regions are managed by the denr offices which are responsible for producing and protecting these forests. Conservation and proper utilization of these areas are important considerations for the benefit of the communities in both of these regions..
[Audio] This slide presents information about the tenured areas of Cagayan Valley and Davao Region in particular those holders and hectares. Specifically the Cagayan Valley region has 3177 holders and 7942.86 hectares while the Davao Region has 11 holders and 43611.68 hectares of tenured areas. This information is important for the regional planning and management of those areas..
[Audio] The Cagayan Valley region and the Davao Region are a showcase of nature's abundance. There are two forest products monitoring stations in Compostela and New Bataan that are managed by denr offices and 6 forest ranger stations located in Brgy. Rizal Monkayo Davao de Oro; Brgy. Ngan Compostela Davao de Oro; Gabi Compostela Davao de Oro; Banlag Monkayo Davao de Oro; San Jose Montevista Davao de Oro; and Cambagang Maragusan Davao de Oro. These stations are responsible for the regulation of forest resources in these regions and allow for sustainable management of these natural areas..
[Audio] The slides we have seen reveal the total patrol and conservation area for the Cagayan Valley and Davao region to be 4364.33 kilometers and 145928.57 hectares respectively. Five municipalities in this region are Monkayo Monte Vista Compostela and New Bataan. During the past two years threats such as garbage cutting of trees landslides and mining have been recorded. If we undertake collective action we can implement measures to protect the environment conserve our natural resources and make our communities more resilient..
[Audio] The geohazard map of the area in this slide indicates flood levels of high low very high and moderate. The Tenement Areas are shown with 25 holders and the legend describes the different zones regarding debris flow accumulation and susceptibility to landslides. These are significant factors to take into account when it comes to safety and risk management for the region..
[Audio] Davao Region boasts expansive watersheds covering 244056.79 hectares comprising of 10 major river systems namely Manorigao Agusan Caraga Casauman Cateel Hijo Baganga Matiao Saug and Tagugpo. To promote sustainable development and use of these water sources the denr implemented 3 Small Water Impounding Systems (S-W-I-S-) and 3 Soil & Water Conservation Measures (SWCM Gabions)..
[Audio] Andap Watershed Forest Reserve was declared by Proclamation No. 194 series of 1994 and comprises three separate watersheds. These are Sumlog River Watershed Tagum-Libuganon River Watershed and Batutu River Subwatershed. The total area of the Andap Watershed Forest Reserve is 19061.6 hectares including 1733.77 hectares of Sumlog River Watershed 1293.95 hectares of Tagum-Libuganon River Watershed and 16033.88 hectares of Batutu River Subwatershed..
[Audio] Without greetings and without beginning with "Today": Cagayan Valley region and Davao Region are two distinctive areas in the Philippines each offering their own singular features. Cagayan Valley region covers 6732.79 hectares of land with low to moderate flooding while the Davao Region has 12662.48 hectares with high flooding. Both regions have their forestry resources which include WPP_LUMBERDEALER WPP_MINISAWMILL and WPP_VENEER. monkayo_falls a stunning example of a special resource distinct to the Davao Region can be found there too. To sum up both Cagayan Valley Region and Davao Region are valuable assets of our country presenting distinct geographical political and environmental characteristics.
