What I learned: "Critical Thinking is defined as a set of abilities or cognitive skills related to logical analysis and evaluation of arguments(Erikson, 2018)." In addition, students are expected to think beyond their disciplinary expertise..

Scene 4 (1m 0s)

Critical thinking is a tool that allows the student to go further than the identified learning outcomes model. problems of the learning outcome model: - There are goals of higher education that cannot be expressed in learning outcomes - Learning Outcomes set limitations on students' education.

After taking the time to read this article, I will be applying my knowledge of critical thinking to my future studies/career. I will take whatever learning objective I am given and not only learn the answers to my questions, but also understand the "why" of a given problem..

Scene 6 (2m 17s)

conclusion. Critical Thinking is and will always be one of the greatest attributes to have as a student or employee. The current learning outcomes model is effective, but there are holes within the model that leave student's thought processies at a disadvantage. I think it is of utmost importance to stress teachings using the critcal thinking model as it will mold students into top notch employees, who are ready to take on multifacted problems within the workplace.
