DO remain calm -you must stay calm and quiet so that you can hear instructions through PA system or by floor wardens/security team. Follow there instructions.  DO proceed with the fire drill as if there were actually a fire. You must stop doing what you’re doing. DO evacuate in an orderly fashion, out of the building. DO use the nearest exit to leave – lookout for signage's. DO remember in case of smoke- use another route or if you can only get out via the smoke-filled area by covering nose and mouth with a wet cloth and crawl on the floor. DO use staircase always to evacuate the building.  DO head directly to the assembly point for a headcount once you leave the building.

DON’T panic and the same is true when a real fire comes through. DON’T gather personal belongings: Fires spread fast. Immediate evacuation is the top   priority. DON’T attempt to extinguish an out of control fire: Containing a large fire should be left to properly trained firefighter professionals. DON’T run –walk calmly and briskly. DON’T open a door that has a hot door handle – you need to choose another route if this is the case. DON’T re-enter the building without being given the all-clear to do so.

HVLS(High volume low speed) Large blade industrial fan at the facilities Below SOP need to follow in the event of Fire Switch off the fan immediately. If the fire is still in its early stages, trained people can use the nearest fire extinguisher to put it out. Inform the appropriate department about the accident. Fire alarm integration work in progress.
