[Audio] Sure! Let's do it.. Hi Chris, and welcome to our Spotlight session. Today, I'll be asking you a few questions to learn more about you. Are you ready to begin? Sure! let's do it..
[Audio] If you won the lottery, what's the first thing you'd do?.
[Audio] Pay the mortgage, of course! But hey, you didn't ask what I'll do next.
[Audio] Mortgage? That's like saying you breathe air—too obvious! Hit me with something unexpected!.
[Audio] First on my list is paying off the mortgage. Next, I'd love to help my family and friends with their financial struggles. And third, it's all about travel!.
[Audio] I dream of exploring the icy wilderness of Antarctica, marveling at the Pyramids in Egypt and Mexico, and flying over the mysterious Nazca Lines in South America..
[Audio] I'd hike to Machu Picchu, wander among the statues on Easter Island, and visit coffee plantations in Ethiopia and Brazil to savor an authentic cup of coffee..
[Audio] If you could switch lives with anyone for a week, who would it be and why?.
[Audio] After giving it some thought, I've realized I wouldn't want to switch lives with anyone. I don't think being in someone else's shoes would bring me fulfillment or happiness. What do you think? It's all about finding joy in your own journey, right?.
[Audio] What's the most random skill or talent you have?.
[Audio] My martial arts colleagues have told me that they consider me to be a good trainer.
[Audio] If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you want to have with you?.
[Audio] multitool, fishing equipment and a cooking pot. Side note: I suck in cooking so it will be a learning curve.
[Audio] If you could have dinner with three people from history, who would they be?.
[Audio] Buddha, Ceaser, Antoninus Pius, Tervel of Bulgaria in their enlighten sages of life.
[Audio] If you could relive one moment in your life, what would it be?.
[Audio] When my future wife said 'yes,' it was one of the happiest moments of my life.
[Audio] What's something you've done recently that pushed you out of your comfort zone?.
[Audio] These questions 😊as I don't like talking about myself.
[Audio] How do you handle situations when you feel overwhelmed?.
[Audio] If possible, I'll pause and breathe or using a technique that I learned from a Terry Pratchett's book - I prioritise my tasks and break them down into smaller, manageable steps..
[Audio] This helps me focus on one thing at a time and reduces the feeling of being overwhelmed by a large workload..
[Audio] That's great!. That's Great!.
[Audio] If you could make one change to the workplace, what would it be and why?.
[Audio] I know that Adrian will want me to say to have Lego in every desk in the office, Piyush or Elias to work 5 days from home but for me is fostering a culture of trust and empathy because.
[Audio] When employees trust each other and their leaders, they are more likely to collaborate effectively and share innovative ideas without fear of judgment..
[Audio] A trusting environment boosts morale and engagement, leading to higher productivity and job satisfaction. Trust and empathy in the workplace can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, creating a healthier work environment..
[Audio] Teams that trust each other are more cohesive and resilient, which is crucial for navigating challenges and achieving long-term success..
[Audio] Do you have a favourite quote or motto that inspires you?.
[Audio] I do have a favourite poem - "If" by Rudyard Kipling.
[Audio] You're welcome to listen to it you'd like..
you.
